Part 2 is OUT NOW!: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lcd5f7d1p8jRYKs.html I worked on this video for almost 3 weeks straight. Grinded everyday for about 6-8 hours almost non stop. Got kind of sad that it had to come to an end, that's how much fun I had making this. Thank you for everyone that reads this, or shows this video to a friend or loved one. Much love!!!

Maaaan. I have sooooo many memories listening to Drake when he first came out. Walking to school sophomore year listening to “I’m goin in”, riding around with my friends listening to “headlines” on repeat, being with my first love listening to “best I ever had” and “find your love”, playing black ops listening to “fear” and a lot of others. So many good times I wish I could relive. Drake is timeless and one of the most consistent artists who delivers bangers year after year. It’s impressive how he’s still making #1’s after all this time.
@qayiyamajeke65462 жыл бұрын
I just appreciate that it was made by a day one fan. Bruh those 2008/9 days when he first popped till now! The journey has been amazing. This documentary also showed Drakes formula. Drop mixtapes, flood the game with banger features then drop an album, repeat. So simple yet immensely difficult to execute with such level of consistency , quality and longevity

Best thing about your vids is you implement your personality, this shit aint just a documentary, this your view on an artists come up and how it effected you, hearing you speak on these songs and how you bumped them back in the day and the environment of the era brings another layer to these vids.
@itsAaronSpeaking2 жыл бұрын
dam that insight means alot!! i appreciate you noticing that. because i think about that too as im making this. it not only brings me back down memory lane but i try to say my experiences with these songs and i like to give my opinions! because maybe the viewer feels the same way. technicaly i could always just be "objective" and literally just sound like a robot, read a biography, and just narrate his career, but wheres the fun in that ya know? We turnin up!

2008-2015 is Drake’s golden years to me. His best music was during those years. I remember when I first realized “Jimmy is a rapper now” when they used to play “Replacement Girl” on The N during commercial breaks. Thank Me Later came out that summer before my senior year of high school and that definitely was the soundtrack to my summer that year. And that album is still his best to me

8:43 that how I felt I started watching Degrassi around 2006 but I didn’t start listening to drake till 2009. So far gone was the first project I heard from Drake. It wasn’t until 2010 when I found out Jimmy is Drake. Crazy times man

I only got into drake when he dropped“if you’re reading this its to late” his music became moody and emotional. He changed as a person that year. Ive loved him ever since.

Mannnn. I been getting recommended this video/doc for at least 5 months now.. Always just passed on it. And tonight, I just happened to have a lil time to burn.. I'm beyond impressed at how good this is and is put together. You got a great style man. A perfect chemistry of Facts, Humor, Down to Earth Real, controversy, and honesty, and etc etc.. This is extremely well put together. Looking forward to watching another one of your docs.. When I have the time fam 😂😂 👍🏾 great job

This is really well made. Thank you. I been a drake fan since the beginning and I remember all of this. I was in high school bumping my drake in my 94 Altima. 🤣 I miss those days
