Omg yea Mingi is SO underrated - love his emotional side 🖤. If you’ve not heard it, please check out his “special clip” he shared on their KZfaq on August 9th!! (The title is fully Korean, so I’m not sure what it’s called - the thumbnail is like a rainy street at night thru a window, with an orange sign). It was the first time I heard this side of him, and it was so powerful, I cried 🥹. Thank you so so much for your analysis of his deeper lyrics too!! I am SO so excited to be getting more of his solo work. I hope they’ll go on Spotify!

He's had such a hard time with his mental health, poor lad. But i feel that this song seems almost therapeutic. Like being able to get out all the mental frustrations and anger out in the open is his way of saying it no longer has such a grasp on him any longer... Plus i love that he got to be a part of all the song creating process as the end result seemed so personal and from the heart. I may be wrong but i guess that's my interpretation

Think that is what Mingi does here - talks about it and I can relate when my daughter is going through the same. She is on the way back. I think every man or women can relate in some points to this. Saw this on my feed and started watching after coming from school where I had a stressing exam today

You guys have such a good analysis and insight. Even as a Mingi biased person who has a huge respect for how he writes, and so much empathy for what he's been through, I don't think I quite got it and I, sadly, wasn't quite feeling this song somehow. BUT! That's on me. I think it's because I have my own voids and pains that I'm stuck with and haven't been in a mood where I can look at them, despite how much they drag me down day to day. I'll be taking my time to absorb this song more and contemplate. Thank you for helping to deepen my understanding and appreciation for our Mingi's work!!

I really like how you both talked about the alcohol lyric in the second verse because I understood it with the translation the official video provided, but I think y'all's longer translation might have helped other listeners who may not relate and/or aren't fluent in Korean also get the blurred/haziness double meaning. If Turbulence, Youth, and Tunnel (btw he said initially Tunnel was meant to drop before Youth) had dropped around early Ateez days I definitely would've bawled lol I guess both him and I were a mess at 22 😭I also feel like Mingi is often "emotional," but sometimes listeners get so amped up on the accompanying track and the tone of his voice itself that it doesn't set in, lol, even if they're fluent or are reading a translation. He's a talented writer and very thoughtful. As you can tell I like him a lot lol I've been an Atiny before Atiny was a word (pick it up cover/kq fellaz days 😵), and it's so nice when Jas brings up personal experiences to relate. It might not seem like a big deal since this is mediated through KZfaq and the screen and all, but it's still vulnerable, so I wanted to acknowledge that!

I don't think it's just about a significant other/ anxiety. It could about loss of normalcy in general. Like memories of being normal because mental heath is treated as a taboo topic in many countries especially asian countries. When you have depression/anxiety people treat you different. Also I relate to very specific parts in the song. "Will I be able to delete all these memories? I think of it as a habit once in a while From sunrise to sunset, this moment Why is my heart so void?" Also "Every photo, every piece of my heart" and 'I guess I can’t get used to being left alone"

I feel like Mingi solo would be like Dohanse or Bigone , emotional between rnb and rock , kinda pop punk. Fingers crossed that will happen one day. Probably not with KQ ...
