Your friends from Texas have their whiskey vault, which is impressive, but it's got all different kinds of whiskey. what is astounding with your collection is that it appears to be limited to just bourbon and rye....

Very cool. I don’t imagine you have to worry about earthquakes. I’m in S. Calif. so I get nervous whenever I see bottles hanging over the edge :).

I took down three bottles from the kitchen cabinets and put them on the kitchen table. Vodka, gin, and tequila. Then I grabbed a shot glass and put that on the table in front of the bottles. Finally, I sat down. My father in law was sitting across from me eating corn flakes. He said, " Too many bottles."

So jealous. Got heavily into bourbon a cpl yrs ago. Been on the hunt ever since. Up to 55 bottles i have on hand aside from my daily drinkers i get through every few weeks. Have a good amount of those hard to gets but, as you know, never quite satisfied.
