I totally agree. So happy to hear someone get on with it without tons of uhms and discussions about their cat's neighbor's kids dog's response to the weather. A tiny tad of personal chat at the beginning (30 seconds max) is all most of us want to hear.

Wow JD!! This is probably not only the BEST card tutorial on vellum that I've ever watched, it's the best card tutorial period. I never use vellum even though I have it in my stash because I didn't know how to deal with the issues that you addressed. Now I look actually look forward and will follow along with you as I try - especially on the vellum pocket card!! So easy to follow. Lol, you've now cleared up all the mystery surrounding vellum! Your ideas are brilliant, and you are a masterful card maker! But that's the least of it: you have found a perfect way to demonstrate your work on video by carefully editing the footage and then narrating your descriptive how-to. JD, you have such a pleasant voice (!!! -- UNlike so many on y.t.) AND you're PREPARED when the camera starts rolling. You've practiced enough in advance to give us succinct lessons, but not SO much that it's "old hat" and you've forgotten what you need to tell us that CAN go awry. These are *all* sooo pretty!! I need to get some more vellum, because you’ve given me so many ideas!! One thing I like to do with vellum is dry embossing with embossing folders, it comes out really cool!❤️

Love ❤️ it I’m going to be making cards in six months from now. This is just what I was looking for. I had gotten all the things I need for making cards I even got the hole embossing kit on sale it was like $80.00 or more. I payed 35.00 for the kit thank you. I will be watching more of your videos

Excellent tutorial. I saved it to my Pinterest account so I can go back to it again. Your ideas are fresh and I want to CASE a few. I have been scrap booking for years and have an old tool kit that contains tools for eyelets and brads so I never saw the need to buy the expensive "crodcadilly". You are very talented. SERIOUSLY...I love your videos so much. You were the VERY FIRST crafter I ever watched on KZfaq (under a different handle). Now I am a subscriber to many more and even started my own channel this year and adding my own videos.
