@Jason-rx4lq he was very well supported in wales,was a Calzaghe prodigy alongside Enzo maccarenelli who I also followed. Both good boxers not given the limelight enough.Unfortunately the welsh boxers Don't tend to get the big sponsorship. Calzaghe was not given enough credit if he had been American they would have lauded over him.

Yeah... on the heels of a stunning knockout defeat that came in the middle of a fight where he was ahead on 2 of 3 of the judges scorecards. A lot of fighters would be out of sorts in that same situation, and say something at a press conference and mean it from the heart... and then... with time... MAYBE come around to a different view. Gotta give people a little room to be human, after all. :)
