Great Reaction, D'Angelo was really nervous about filming this, it was supposed to show his vulnerability. It ended up making him a sex symbol. (getting assaulted by women at concerts the whole nine.) He didn't want his Momma or Church see this but it was a dedication to his idol, Prince.

This was the Egyptian a.k.a. Kemetite god Osiris energy. Shortly after they got rid of him for that. But from what I hear, he made a comeback.
