they’re fluent! they can properly express themselves in english, but it’s probably their accent that makes people think otherwise. the fact that all the members can converse in english with each other is really impressive.

@@fubuki5990 I don't consider Itzy to be properly fluent. Lia is the only fluent member. I don't decide this based on their accent. Listen to how Lia talks and listen to how the rest of them talk. There is a big difference. Lia is at the level of fluency.

maybe its because the word itself “charisma” is not an english word, but when you add “-tic” it becomes an english word and thats how you pronounce it. its just my theory because I’m not a native english speaker either lol

@@ely_rahma they’re all at varying levels of fluency. Lia is fully fluent. But the others have all recently learned more and more English in the past year or so. I don’t think they all get a lot of practice speaking in English which is why sometimes Chae and Yuna have specific word choices to describe things. They all pretty much understand English but their own vocabulary and confidence speaking it is growing.

How come when they are discussing Yuna's style, they put a picture of Yeji as "Yuna" and vice versa? I think they couldn't tell them apart and just picked the picture as the same hair color. They don't even look alike? Please check these details! they literally don’t look alike at all. yeji is one of the idols out there who is the EASIEST to differentiate from other idols. like no female idol looks like her in my opinion.

I love how they always try their best to speak in English. Ryujin is trying to support Lia so that she doesn't carry all the burden and everyone's trying to finish each other's sentences just to help them express their thoughts! As an international fan, I really appreciate this

I’m proud of them, their English has gotten better and so has their confidence. I know lia is fluent but I’m happy that we get to see more of lia’s personality on American interviews.

When Yeji mistakened to pronounce the world " sick" instead of " chic", Lia helped her correct it by clearing it out that " chic" being the second meaning like cool. I love how they're so supportive together to improve English. I would be so grateful if someone don't mind correcting me with proper explanation like that.

I think you mean her pronunciation cause her English isn’t fluent, she still struggles with a lot of words like most of the girls (besides Lia of course). But I’m actually noticing that they all have so much progress with each English interview, I don’t think I know any other group where all of the members would take learning English so seriously, very proud of them.

@@lalala6011 I don’t know where your agression is coming from, I know that only person who lived in English speaking country is Lia (however you can learn English up to C2 level while never visiting English speaking country). Fluent means when you speak easily without pauses, Ryujin is yet to become fluent but she’s having so much progress in such a short time, I’m sure as an idol she haves very busy schedule which makes it more impressive. A year or two more and she’ll be able to speak English on native speaker level. Please stop trying to turn everything into a negativity when I never said a bad word bout Ry.

It is more of an English interview problem. In Korean interviews and variety shows, she's a natural. Like, I don't think I've seen anyone so confident, sociable and easy-going right from debut before. Anyway, Yeji has improved remarkably. There's such a clear contrast from earlier interviews to this one. Both Jisoo and Yeji are my biases too.
