I think the one thing that really made me love Arthur as a character would be at the last mission. you’re given the option to help John or go back for the money. If you choose to help John, Arthur will say something along the lines of “I’m coming with you, I’m gonna get you out of this bullshit if that’s the last thing I do” Arthur knew he was gonna die, if Dutch’s gang or the Pinkertons didn’t kill him, the Tuberculosis would. Arthur knew he would die, but he was going to make sure John got away with his family.

The Strange Man foreshadowed John, Abigail and Uncle’s demise by walking on the very spot John was buried and insinuating that “this is a perfect spot” alongside John firing his gun 4 times at the Strange Man symbolising that those 3 bullets mark John, Abigail and Uncle’s death but Jack is spared as the 4th shot is a blank.

Bro the next game is definitely gonna be about how the gang got to the point they ended up in at the beginning of the rd2. The entire beginning part of the game they reference how they were in Blackwater and then things went bad. So the next game should be about that. The guy that died in the beginning was named Davey. I don't wanna play as Arthur in another game. The reason why Arthur's story is so incredible is because he went from killer outlaw to honorable warrior who helped the helpless because he felt that it was right. The first game was about John's making up for his past sins, his redemption. The second game was about Arthur's redemption. It's in the title of the game. The stories of these games have to be about the redemption of a man (or a woman). I'm betting if they make a third, which I'm guessing they will, it will be about Jack in the prohibition era. Maybe they will have him join the military during WWI, and then after the war he becomes a bootlegger or something. And then he gets his redemption. Or they will have the game be about the gang before RDR2, though it would be hard to end at the blackwater robbery because then there wouldn't be any free roam available after that; the gang would be heading up into the mountain in the start of the second game

The thing is that in 7:29 the place where the Pinkertons looking for John is the place where John, Abigail and Uncle were buried. Also in another scene (probably when you finish the game and come to ranch), where John and Abigail talk about their new life is the same place where they buried.

In all the years I have played this since it came out I have never taken the time to actually watch the ending credits and see all of this wonderful ending! It is a great gift and a great compilation of all the artists involved and the people behind the scenes, from the mechanics of the game and the detailing of the open range and actions of people and animals it should be celebrated and continued to be played for many many years to come. It would seem words are not gratitude enough for what you gifted and shared with us all. After helping her with her dad and getting back her brooch that he tried to sell on her she offers to go to a theater with Arthur and in the game I accepted the offer and watched the whole show. After the show she was the one who pushed them becoming a close item again and running away but Arthur knew she would end up killed and explained that he was a wanted man.

Fun fact: 6:15 Roger Clark (the actor who played Arthur) was actually a stand-in for Mary Linton when she was standing at Arthurs grave. He provided the motion capture for the scene and they just overlaid Mary's character over his body. Heard it in an interview with Roger.

As sad as I am that Arthur is gone, I’m also sad that Sadie and Charles left the Marston’s in the end. Like, I’m glad they are going out to live the lives they want to live, but the family feels so small and lonely now that it’s just those three and Uncle 😞 John, Abigail and Jack wouldn’t be where they are now if not for Arthur. Rest In Peace, Mr. Morgan, you may be a fictional character, but you will be missed.

I reckon rdr3 could be you play as dutch and show how he formed the gang and like you could implement like a gang leader concept where you can send different people to scout and hat and like have the gang camp improvement system improved so you have to protect your camp from other gangs
