all of ragnar son really loved floki . floki was like a godfather to them.

Ivar was a real complex character. At times, you really hated him and wished one of his brothers would deal to him. Then at times he made you laugh. Then he scared the hell out of you with his evil machinations and genius. And then he tugged at the heart strings with tender moments like this. It was a mixed bag with him.

First part of ivar died with rangar,the second and last part of ivar died when floki left and ivar became someone else

This scene is a clue scene in the whole series. You can literally see how the mask, that Ivar all the time had on his face, fell down as he was alone with Floki. You could see how much he meant to him, after Ragnar died, Floki was the only person Ivar could be himself with. After this scene, Ivar changed. He became completely the brutal and insane person, nobody had anymore the power over him to stop him from doing bad things. this scene somehow broke my heart and I knew things would go down if floki left.

Ivar covered his fear and sorrow with rage and power deep down Ivar has always been scared

Floki was always so loyal to Ragnar, even when they had their differences.

When floki left my heart broke too. He was so loyal and caring for his people and suffered greatly for doing what he believed to be right. Vikings was from the beginning to today my most favourite series I've seen and its characters and sagas really stuck a cord with not only my lineage but also my soul.

Floki is a friend every man needs

Alot of people only saw Ivar as some rage-filled heartless person. But there was also love in him and he truly cared for the people close to him

We didn’t really get to see much of the relationship between these two buy I feel like they were much closer than the series showed us

Ivar didn't kill Sigmund, the script writers did because they got scared to go full rainbow. Good decision, the full rainbow thing but they could still have kept Sigmund.

I dont know if or how Floki reacted to Ivar's death. But I wished they'd shown it, in case they didn't.

Floki was my favorite character until he betrayed Ragnar. But his redemption into Ragnar's favor also redeemed him in my eyes.
