Since I'm in quarantine for a while now, I've finally been able to finish this project. This is my second Ivar edit but I personally like this one a lot better since I learned from my previous mistakes. I really wanted to show the aggressive / angry side of Ivar and how he kinda became this way. Didn't put the focus on the relationships he has with others like with his wife for example except for his parents and his brother Sigurd maybe haha. But I did that on purpose because I only wanted to show this side of Ivar. Believe it or not but he does have a kind / human side :'O
I don't think that 6A was that good compared to previous seasons but I'm still f*cking hyped for Vikings 6B.

What is even more ridiculous is that they fully swayed away from history there just to make some PR for the lil' insecure freak as the new possible main character after Ragnar.

For some reason when Ivar yells out “Forward!” as Bjorn and Harald yell “Retreat!”, I get goosebumps💀 This was by far one of the best tributes I’ve ever seen. Really emphasizes his rage and intensity. Great fucking work, man💪🏽

Ivar the Boneless is such a powerful character. Ragnar was Vikings and after he passed away (aweful death), Ivar becomes Vikings. Without both the father and this son of his, the show wouldn't have been the same. Really too bad, Ivar dies so stupildy.

Excellent video on Ivar! I was shocked by the character at first but grew to understand and love Ivar. I think Alex Hogh Andersen would approve, based on his interviews that I’ve seen. If only he could see it. Thank you for your work! Subscriber here.

Hey, really appreciate it! Ivar actually got my attention to check this show out back in 2017 hahah Saw that one famous 2pac edit which covered him. Yeah I think so too, watched like all of those interviews before editing. I hope one day he will see it, probably not but one can hope. No problem, I'll be working on a Punisher "Frank Castle" Video first, then maybe Money Heist. However, more Vikings edits coming soon

Ruben Custer I starting watching Vikings for the history and continued for the characters. Such a storyline! I didn’t watch Season 5 until some months later because I didn’t want to see the brothers fall out. Even then I could watch only with one eye closed. I love the character development. It’s a great show. I hate to see it ending. But up until then, grit your teeth and hold on!

Such an amazing series. Such an amazing cast. Each person cast was perfect for each role. I've watched the series probably 7 times now. For the longest time, Ragnar was my favorite.....as I continued to rewatch.....Ivar is the man.

@@Diane_L I thought the same thing. Almost every other tribute starts with Ivar being played by Alex (grown up Ivar). I rarely found one including his childhood. So here it is :') New edits coming soon, next one isn't going to be Ivar though. But I'll definitely edit another one of him :D

So when I see other people like yourself following the same style of doing videos, this is what I enjoy the most: seeing the whole story from the beginning to the end with whatever 'theme' you are working with. Ivar Beinlause had his skeleton buried in a mound on the east-coast of England, to protect future raids into Britain from the old, Norse enemy that forced them to grow to the greatest Empire the world have ever known, a sea-power without measure both in WW1 and WW2. Gladly they kept our King and Crown-Prince along with our whole gold reserves, safe, during the war, and practiced the brave, young men from Norway in the Scottish highlands, similar to the mountains in Norway, to create excellent warriors, that in return made sure to put explosives into the heavy water-factory here, that was the basis of the Nazi nuclear bomb program, and even sacrificed Norwegian civilians, when they tried transport the precious barrels back to Germany, but was again bombed, sinking both ship and crew and those traveling on the ferry. So not one single barrel of heavy water got to Germany. Very few know this story of the Norwegian resistance, but because of all England did for us during the war, every year, close to Advent, we find a 100+ year old Norwegian Spruce tree, a "queen of the forest", that we give to England, so they can raise it at Trafalgar Square. This is an honor we give to England, and England honor us by their acts and accepting our yearly gift. Norse and Anglo-Saxons are very close, even though we fought horribly against each other. Good friends usually fight, but then get peace again.

thats honestly in top 5 ivar edits. everything was perfect. absolute chaos. lovely. also i really expected to see the moment where baby ivar calls his mom stupid during the chess match. but thats okay. 4:28-4:34 was kinda useless and pointless to me or maybe i couldnt see the point but whatever. solid 8 out of 10. great music btw

Thanks, I appreciate your comment a lot! I did cut out the part where baby Ivar called Aslaug stupid on purpose actually, I didn't have that much extra room so had to be picky. The time frame you're referring too ; I put that part there to like showcase once more how he's really not interested in peace. But now that you're pointing it out, I could've indeed just skipped that part, personal preference I guess :) Haha yeah, once I heard that song for the first time, I knew I was editing Ivar on it!
