Imo, she wasn't able to showcase her singing in iz*one because they had a lot of vocalists (who were arguably better during that time), plus iz*one songs are realllyy high, so Wony used her high pitched voice to fit with the song more rather than using her normal voice.

아이브 녹음 영상에서 나도모르게 계속 레이를 제일 주목하게됨… 랩에서도 안정된 톤에다가 반주없는 흥얼거림에서도 너무 음정이 정확함 너무 너무 잘해서 대견할정도 일본인 발음이 어떻게 저럼…?

이서 로얄하는거보니까 진짜 저음이 느낌잡고 소리내는게 엄청 어려운것같당..근데잘해 너무좋아 리즈고음뭐야 진짜 고음이 부드럽게 들려서 너무 너무다 고음별로 안좋아하는데 리즈고음은 너무 좋아 ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

The big thing about IVE’s singing abilities is that they all have distinct voices and none sounds the same. You’ll be able to distinguish one member’s vocals from another! All of them deliver such great vocal tones~ 💖

진짜 다들 보컬 수준급인건 알았는데 이서랑 레이가 너무 보물이다.. 이서 음색은 귀여우면서 부드러움+고급짐 이런느낌인데 레이는 디렉터님 말대로 톤부터 멋있고 랩발음 지린다 와;; 일본인이 영어발음 저렇게 좋은거 처음봄

YUJIN'S VOCALS ARE SO GOOD DAMN HER VOICE IS SO ADDICTING AND LIZ HIGH NOTE IS SO IMPRESSIVE SHE AND THE MEMBERS SHOULD BE SO PROUD OF THE SONG AND HOW IT TURNED OUT!! WONYOUNGS GESTURES WHILE RECORDING ARE SO CUTE SHE DID A GREAT JOB, LEESEO ALSO DID VERY GOOD AND SHE HAS A LOT OF POTENTIALS!! AND AS FOR THE RAP LINE GAEUL AND REI HAVE A LOT OF SWAG AND THEIR VOICES ARE SO ATTRACTIVE!! GREAT JOB IVE!!! I need more Liz and Leeseo moments they are so adorable

Everyone is doing great. They're very talented but i'm still surprised with Wony's improvement, the runs notes is really good. Also REI'S RAP!! I always wanted to listen her rap because her tone is pretty and now she did it well!!
