I'd say the problem is not western media shows a "false" Africa, but little Africa anyway. News is crisis. Crisis is war, terrorism, famine. Of course that is shown first, maybe giving some people wrong impressions. But hey, who in Europe should think people in Africa were overall living in mud houses? Ignorants do, not others. Thats not a point of media, but of education and intelligence.... On the other hand: Africa is diverse. Isn't some criticism about neo-colonial perspectives that people speak only of Africa like it was one country, while there are over 50 of them? So we also should not state things like "Africa in western news". And finally: progress is not just a matter of technology or infrastructure, but of social infrastructure, good governance, accountable and without corruption, free media, democracy and human rights. >Things not visible in videos.

Some nigerians think that Lagos is the most developped city in West Africa even in Africa but I think they mistaken most developped city with most populous city. Stop lying. Nigerians are the most Afrocentric people on the planet. Everywhere Nigerians go we are always promoting Africa. No other country in Africa has done more for Africa than Nigerians. You can check the record. Many Nigerian soldiers have even died for peacekeeping missions to help other Africans (check your facts). This is the type of stuff we don't brag about. Yet, if we talk about being the best in anything else (which is verifiably true), you will say we are bragging 😂 Make we brag small, abeg.

at 3:45 - this was a teaching moment and i am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AS AN IVORIAN YOU COULDNT TAKE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE RELATION BETWEEN GHANA AND IVORY COAST AND THE REASON FOR THE SIMILARITIES IN FOOD, LANGUAGE, CUSTOMS AND CULTURE. IT IS BECAUSE WE ARE BLOOD SIBLINGS SEPARATED DUE TO CIRUMSTANCE DURING COLONIZATION The main peoples of the Ivory Coast are the Akan people (the largest ethnic group - exactly like in ghana), the Mandé people, and the Gur people. There are, however, many other ethnic groups present in the country The AKANS OF IVORY COAST migrated westward from Ghana when the Asante rose to power. This tale of their breakaway is preserved in their oral traditions. During the ghana Asante rise to power, the Baule queen, Aura Poku, was competing directly with the Asante king. When she lost, she led some akans away from Ghana and to the Central Ivory Coast. Aura Poku's descendant occupies the throne and palace she built, and is honored by the Baule as their nominal king. The Baoule are a part of the Akan people who inhabit Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Ghanaian here, who lived in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire for 10 years.... Have very fond memories of my time there and still have many friends there. Their first president, Felix Houphouet Boigny, laid the foundation for their development. Due to his longevity in power ie 30 years +, he oversaw a lot of the development before his death and laid the blue print for future development. (That's what Kwame Nkrumah would have done for Ghana if he had the same amount of time in power! ) Abidjan is a beautiful and well planned city. Amazing Place....and the food is yummy too! PS : The Akans (Baoule people) in ivory coast share similar culture to Akans in Ghana

The reason there are similarities between Ivory Coast and Ghana is because about 250 years ago there was a chieftaincy power struggle in the Asante Kingdom and one of the chief's nieces, Abla Pokua, broke away with a group of people who went and settled in modern day Ivory Coast- they still speak Asante/Twi and retain Asante customs.

After seeing black panther( wakanda )they think they can go to Africa and do it better than the Africans with their resources. Cause they think Africans are can't do it themselves. The sad thing you have a lot of simpleton Africans inviting them to come build Africa not knowing what their true intentions are is to takeover and do better than them withe their own resources.

I discovered your videos when you where showing Nigeria real estate and Nigerian touristic spots many years ago .Good Video as usual . There are still few things that can be done from a Tourist Point of View apart From Assinie, Grand Bassam and Yamoussoukro Which is already quite ok . The Banco Forest is the second largest urban forrest in the world with lush vegetation. That tropical Forrest is inside Abidjan , Only Rio de Janeiro has a bigger forrest .There are many national parks and some museums to visit in Abidjan . There is a touristical Town called MAN where people visits hand made traditional Liana bridge and waterfalls there is also the muslmim north with some traditional mosquee , there is also the weavers of waranyere in the north their products are different from those you saw as it is a different ethnic group so the fashion is different .BBR abidjan Boulay Beach Resort is getting famous too . Our country focused on agriculture before , not tourism but I think for a country third the size of Nigeria there are enough things to visit for one week at least .As the country is similar to Nigeria with a lot of muslims and Christians living together we also have two very big and very modern World class Mosquées the Mosquée of Plateau and the mosquée Mohamed 6 ... So Definitely I think there are many things to do for a tourist in CI .
