yup there are several robotic or other types of kits that you can explore, of course working with a professor will give you an edge but both types of research look good on profile

while this is possible, it's not as easy as it sounds! Many top universities have a limited space for their majors. For example, if a student wanted to transfer from a psychology major to CS, the steps to change major will not be straightforward- there could be a restriction where they might need a certain 1st year subject/credit which you had to take. I wouldn't recommend taking such a risk of loosing 1 or 2 years in case this doesn't work out!

If you are going for a masters/mba- then your LORs can be from your direct employer. I would not use a stranger/other influential person

acc. to total number, you report your scores in your grading and not in GPA or any other conversion

If you are in 8th now, you are too young to join the bootcamp(join that when you finish your 9th or 10th). Instead I will suggest you to focus on building your profile. Try exploring different subjects like computer science, Law, medicine etc. Research as much as you can because you have ample time. Try collecting some certificates(which hold value). You can start writing your essay and make it better and better. Collect info from KZfaq videos/articles and write it somewhere or else you will forget it. If you will be preparing for jee then you will have very less time in 11th 12th grade, thus do most of your research before entering 11th grade. Take small steps towards your goal and also focus on your academic scores because they do matter. Try scoring 85+ (roughly equivalent to 3.5 gpa. Also if you have free time you can go to Khan academy and start studying for sat. Studying for sat will also help you in your academic studies because the concepts are kinda same. @@aakash5884Tysm for the comment i rlly rlly appreciate it, actually i already go to aakash thats why i wont hve time to join classes separately for sat, can you pls help to get started on preparing for the test bcuz to be completely honest i hve no idea where to start currently, and in ecs like should i focus on one major thing and do things surrounding that or explore diff fileds bcuz im afraid that if i explore alot ill waste time or my resume might not hve the "passion" factor and does doing MUNs n all rlly add on to the record as much as said?
