The IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XV 3253-01 is encased in 38 mm of stainless steel surrounding a matte black IWC Pilot's Watch Mark-style dial on a black calf skin strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. Features include hours, minutes, seconds, date, and soft iron inner antimagnetic cage. The watch also measures 10.5 mm in thickness and 47.5 mm from lug-to-lug.

This is the watch I saw in the movie, Vanilla Sky with Tom Cruise in 2001 that set me on my watch journey. What a classic!

sigh.. they dont make them like they used to in the early 2000s. smaller cases, excellent movements, reasonable prices, mass availability.

100 percent Jackie. The Xv is the best of the breed. Hopefully they get back to this design for the mk xix

Gosh I still got the 'horology high' from the earlier video which showcase the full 18k Rolex Yatchmaster...... This IWC manage to bring me down to earth for which I will able afford at the moment.... lol
