I’ve seen both Lisa and Chaeyeon live and I think they’re both talented. I think Lisa tends to hit the beats more with her movements whereas Chaeyeon’s moves are more fluid. IMO Chaeyon’s freestyles are better. Chaeyeon was always dancing when we saw her and it was awesome!

Not a dancer, so don't take my opinion blindly, but I really thought chaeyeon are one of the top dancer in this current era of kpop. IIRC Yeji from ITZY once was asked why did she keep braiding her hair. She said that they are not just dancer, they are idol dancer, which means stage presence and facial expression is as important as the dance itself, and having eye contact to convey that is essential. Having a long, unbraided hair can give a good powerful effect, but the hair itself is hard to control, and if they cover your face, that will break immersion. She said that she will let her hair down when she is comfortable enough with her control over her hair (which she did in wannabe!). That being said, look at chaeyeon's hair control. Thats absurd. How many times do you remember powerful dancer (eunbi, yena, yujin, etc) had to comb her hair back to maintain stage presence? Now look back at chaeyeon. She had such precise hair control that it could flip amazingly, but still won't hinder her face. I'd put a time stamp for example here, like how in 12:26 she maintain eye contact even during double axis rotation (body in Y axis, head in Z axis; how is that possible!?), but really, just watch any of her serious dance and you will notice how she restrict or boost her movement just so her hair won't land on her face. Another amazing point of her dance is her isolation. She can isolate, like, every single muscle on her body. Example in 8:38 her shoulder and hip move in different direction, or in 12:26 and 14:50 where her torso and lower body move in different speed, or how she do a wave in SLOW MOTION in studio choom ssots behind video (I still can't get over how can someone do such a fluid wave in a slow motion!?). This earn her the fluidity that inspired her nickname. Feather chaeyeon. I legit think she is at least on the same level of technique, power, and fluidity with the top kpop dancer like chung ha, lisa etc. What I think she lack... well, not lack, she's great at this too but not on the same level with other top kpop dancer, is attitude and facial expression. The two examples I listed above is well known not oly for their dances but also their expression and stage presence. With Eunbi and Yena beside her, I sincerely think and hope that chaeyeon could steal some trick from them to further enhance her already amazing dance. PS: 13:37 confident? You mean confident performing a dance-only routine, on one of the most popular song from the available choices, with almost all other top dancer in that show so she don't have to hold back? Hell yeah she should be confident about it! PS2: 10:00 OMG what do you mean-- I can't even... whatttt???

She is still the best dancer of the 4th generation, there hasn't been anyone who could top her unlike 3rd generation with so many good dancers she might even rule unopposed.

I really hope many would recognize her as one of the best. She's totally a full package idol from her singing, rapping and dancing and personality too. I think she's God's favorite hehe♥️💯
