Despite all the chaos, Dabi continues to watch it all unfold in 4K.

What I like is that Deku doesn't absolutely refuse to kill Shigaraki (as he says, "Maybe there's no other way besides killing to stop him" by the end). He just wants to try another option first before it as last resort. He's idealistic with that goal to save, but not naive to completely ignore that option to kill. Even Hawks tried to reason with Twice before killing him.

I love that Deku saying "A giant villain" at the end of the episode is a throwback to the first chapter/episode where he says exactly the same, but at this point he's not the innocent kid that he used to be and now he's carrying the burden of literally saving the world.

Deku is about to single-handedly carry the entire hero organisation

"A huge villain" was said with joy and anticipation in the first episode now he says it with tired determination

When they said One For All can't be passed on anymore, it wasn't because the other quirks have manifested. It's because Quirkless people are nearly extinct in Deku's generation (the 20% of people who are Quirkless are mostly old people) and they'll be even rarer in the future.

Crazy thing is if Roshi had powers he would be treating every petty villain how Endeavour was treating Shigaraki. Nothing but kill blows when dishing out the Roshi Justice

Glad to see Roshi keeping that same energy we all know and love right from the jump in the intro

I Love that Deku doesn't take killing Shigaraki off the board but instead leaving it as a last resort and wants to at least try saving him first

This is why Deku is the best protagonist. He's an idealist, but he's not stupid. He knows he might have to kill Shiggy, but he's still willing to reach out if there's even the smallest possibility. And it's not like this show hasn't given us the kind of evil that's irredeemable - we have AFO after all. But with Shiggy, from childhood, he was either abused or manipulated, and as someone with the power that Deku has, he's the one most positioned to save the kid that was never saved from the adult that hates everything. It also shows his will is unbreakable, he isn't prone to hatred like Shigaraki, which is what the Vestiges were counting on.

Rizzuku Himdoriya awakens and now the rizzilante arc begins

The difference between his first mask and this one is that along with the darker color schemes, only his iris' were showing instead of the whole eyes which makes it much more menacing. It's like when All Might's eyes started showing in fights. He looked much more menacing

This is the start to what, in my opinion, is the greatest arc in MHA so far and I’m all here for it

11:05 They're mad that their "safe bubble" they thought they were in had burst, and they want to go back in. They want everything to go back to what they thought things were like what All Might was active, and they had their rose-colored glasses on.

What the OFA users were testing Deku wasn't entirely about his will to save (as that is yet to be determined if fully possible), but his will in general. They needed Deku to have an unwavering resolve to not fall into hatred and be easily overpowered by Shigaraki's hatred as it is what AFO is using to try to steal OFA.

The way I see, it Hawks needed to kill Twice. I don’t know if he can, but could you imagine him making an army of Gigantomachias?! Nah, this man had to go lol

The funniest part of this entire episode is that Touya somehow managed to set up a working TV inside a rundown mansion(Sorry CRC you've been evicted) and was just praying on Endeavor's downfall. Man was ready for the slip up. Onto the episode, Tomura has constantly been shown with butterfly imagery ever since MVA. First inside the bloody cocoon during his backstory. Then him emerging from the cocoon during the Doctor's monologue about the experiment. Now we see him with butterfly wings in the imagery. Which makes me wonder if that's symbolism of All For One. All For One is the cocoon that Tomura has to shed. The guy who groomed him up to feel hatred towards everything and everyone. The guy who is now inside his body. If he sheds away that hatred and anger, will he be Tomura? Tenko? A new being entirely? Only time will tell. There are two very interesting variables inside that scenario. Izuku and Spinner. Both have expressed wanting to help/save Tomura. Izuku wants to reach out to the little boy inside of him. Spinner wants him to be free from AFO. And I wonder how them both trying to save him in completely different ways is going to work out in the end

People used to make fun of Deku's mask but now he looks so badass in that mask

I really hope the whole “Hate Deku” trend finally dies down after this arc. There’s no reason for people to dislike such a dope main character bruh.😂🔥

The way I read this part of MHA, is that Shigaraki is more of a metaphor. He's a representation of how society mistreats people & his quirk is the reaction to that neglect. No once actually has a nuclear bomb in their finger tips, but some people hate the world so much that they would if they could. When you look at it like that, you can understand Deku a little big more. Like, at the end of the day it's Shiggy's actions that caused this, & there's a point where you have to concede that he's gotta be stopped by any means. But, if you have the ability to, you've got to reach out first. See if there's someone down there who can still be reasoned with. Because killing villains doesn't really solve the problem, it just delays it. Until there's another, worse Shigaraki who does even more damage. To truly save everyone, like Deku wants to do, you have to Go Beyond that and stop the cycle that causes the violence in the first place.

This arc is the source of almost ALL of my speculation regarding OFA and why I’m so insistent on my theories and how I’ve cultivated it. It was the start of my truly in depth research of this show. I had an eye for detail back then, but I REALLY started practicing and developing it SPECIFICALLY because I started noticing a deeper nuance here. I will say I don’t mind at all that All-Might’s blazing vestige is still. Mainly BECAUSE he’s injured and can’t use his power. So it’s like at a standstill for now. But the fact he’s on fire tells me that he holds the prime of OFA even now. And there’s two differences between everyone else and Deku. Deku is partially covered in fog, and everyone has an equally sized upholstered throne. None of them are better or worse, each quirk stands the same in OFA. (Also the 2nd and 3rd holder have their backs turned in a way that implies disagreement less ostracized. It’s their CHOICE not to speak. And considering Deku’s will to save…and their specific era…yeah, I kinda get it.) Yet Deku has no throne. The fog partially covering Deku is obviously meant to be taken as his control. He controls 45%. But the other holders mastered 100% of their era so they appear and can fight in full. And the throne? I believe that is the symbol of the prime. We don’t know how much is passed when OFA is passed. But it’s always smaller than the grandest aspect of the power, and somewhere along the line it is vastly improved. And All-Might was already injured when he met Deku, so I’m betting he gave him even less. And THAT is what Deku works to master. 1/60th of prime All-Might. And when he DOES claim the prime, it’ll likely be like Goku getting super saiyan. (Or if we’re getting REALLY technical, Gohan who Deku ACTUALLY has personality traits in common.) And I do not believe that has occurred yet. Almost ALL of it comes from these chapters. Heck, my theory of how Deku stockpiled his power comes in the next few episodes. This also revealed a substantial amount that All-Might KNEW. He KNEW OFA was killing the quirk holders and could be killing Deku. That’s what Bakugo and All-Might were talking about as Float training was happening. And he MAY have realized that All-Might’s quirklessness wasn’t a factor. Didn’t tell Deku ANY of it. And while All-Might didn’t have as much IN DEPTH vestige encounter, I still standby my quirk accusations of All-Might awakening. The rapid expansion HAS occurred in Deku, but I still have yet to see proof the prime has been claimed. But I DO think his maximum will be MUCH greater than All-Might’s when the time comes for the prime to reach Deku. I can’t WAIT. I’ve been waiting SO long to talk about this in the anime. That being said, we also have why this arc is so personal to me. I want all of you to pay attention to Deku’s eyes throughout this arc. This kid is burdened with a COUNTRY worth of pressure. And as an empath….let’s just say what he’s feeling was completely and utterly inevitable. Deku has abandoned any sense of true emotional support he had with his friends. I’ve also suspected for the longest time he said something more personal to Uraraka, but she DEFINITELY took it harder than anyone else even if I now know otherwise. This episode is RICH with lore but I’ll repost the full OFA theory once we get to the part where we see the signals of Deku’s progression.

Deku meeting with the previous users and being told to end Shigaraki reminded me of Avatar when Aang sought guidance from other Avatars but told the same thing. Imagine if MHA ends with Deku taking away all of Shigaraki's quirks.

I don't agree with the previous version of the suit looking goofy. The very first, homemade version, sure, but I think it was fine as soon as he got his next suit made by actual professionals. Let him wear both the hood and metal mask and give him eyes like when he was staring down Overhaul the first time they met Eri, and he'd still look cool even without the black eyes in the new version of the suit. Plus, the fact that he looks like a harmless bunny when he's *not* serious actually works with his character since that's basically how Deku is in general.
