Choosing hobbies that we enjoy and that enrich our lives is one way to make sure that we stay happy and healthy, and keep growing over time. Thinking about balancing our habits is a great way to make sure that we're not neglecting one area of our life - so here are 5 categories of hobbies that I believe can really help us to live a happy, balanced, and fulfilling life. Great 2 additions to the list!… I personally enjoy exercising and running, cooking, learning languages or anything new about architecture and architectural software and new technologies, plus every Saturday I go visit my grandma and have breakfast with her. Tomorrow is her 99th birthday! Hopefully she will live more than 100th! I really enjoyed your video. Always great to see you smiling! 🌹

Thank you for this enlightening video! I read in order to live last year and I cried a lot. I'm really grateful that we can have Yeomni and this precious book of TRUE stories. Staying connected is what I have been ignoring the importance of for quite a while, and isolation during exam week greatly affected my mental well-being. Now I'm truly considering forming a hobby to keep myself in touch with people. Very informative video, and thank you for sharing!

Hi Izzy, my hobbies that fit your categories are as follows: Exercise=rowing, running and a bit of cycling. I tend to function well with a change in scenery. Earn money= I am not 'officially' employed but I do enjoy tutoring even though it is mentally draining. Creativity= I am not creative. I guess I write a bit. I don't run a blog or anything, but I will write my thoughts in an organised way and share it with a friend or two. Grow my mind= read news. ABC and Guardian are personal favourites Stay connected. Well I work in the garden to 'stay connected to nature' and also I play board games with my family/friends.

My most favorite hobby and the main reason to move living in the UK is metal detecting. It makes me so happy, especially when I find a coin or artefact which was last touched or seen 2000 years ago, walking in the fields and digging keeps me fit, and sometimes finding a gold or silver coin brings me money. 10/10 hobby 😊 I'm working in an office environment in health and safety and I crave the outdoors and nature ( I grew up in a farm) and to be honest I'm planning to scrap it all and get my excavator training or farm equipment training / licence so I can work where I enjoy the most. 🤩 Don't be late or afraid to live your dreams.

My hobbies are, investing in the stock market, music audio engineering, gardening, fishing, meditating, and learning what life is all about and how life is supposed to be in general and also how the human minds work. I also like to take a walk and swimming. I like your video it's always an eye opening.

Hello, I've discovered your channel for 2 days and I can't stop watching your videos. I'd like to mention that I'm totally blind, I'm saying this just because it's connected with some of the further ideeas. Firstly, categoriesI'm a musician, a keyboardist/pianist, so, I think music is my creative hobby, the hobby thathelps me connect and, basically I can put it in almost all categories except the phisical exercise. Nextly, a big fascination in my life is represented by aviation, I love airplanes, passenger airplanes and cargo too, not a fan of military stuff nowadays, and since I'm visualy impaired I can't become a pilot, but that's why I'm playing computer games and now I wanna purchase the only flight simmulator that's accessible for us. It helps me in taking complex, fast and clear decisions, it helps me practise my English and it's super fun and interesting, besides complicated. Lastly, I've started taking Spanish lessons, I remember you had sayd in one of your Q&A's that you'd take Spanish at some point, trust me, it does worth it. It's such a beautiful language and also it's so popular and useful. So yeah, that's it, I'm also into prayers and peace of mnind stuff, the only thing I have to do more regurarly is to find some phisical exercising that keeps me motivated. :))) Keep the great work with the channel!

I do exercise regularly throwing Kettlebells, and using Persian Clubs. I am currently writing a book, and I study languages. I have just started to get back into digital art, and I am trying to illustrate once again. In the summer, I do enjoy Dragonboat racing.

You and Ruri are my top contributors for hobby Nr 4. I feel we are on the same vibe because all of what you say resonate with my soul 🤩 I would love to make something similar to what you are doing to make this place a better world. As of my other hobbies, I have been doing scale models from childhood. I love to paint, to come up with my custom designs. I remember when I built 5 similar models but all painted different and not by user manual. Now I try to put on the next level. Also from 16 I start playing guitar. One of my friends was playing and inspired me. We were learning to play Beatles, Nirvana, Metallica. First thing I played was intro from Nothing Else Matters :) That melody was so beautiful to me... Also I recall in 1989 when there was rocj festival of friendship in Moscow, I watch Scorpions and Gorky Park and say - I want to play like these guys... And I do now... Despite my IT work and irregular exercises I still think that self-development, art of building relations and Creative hobbies are most important for me. And it fits together very well. I can listen to your videos and do my scale models at the same time :D And as people mentioned below, thanks for extra 2 additions. I was never thinking of Nr 5. But it was always in my radar. And here, again my creative hobbies helps, because I have a lot of friends from both - music world and scale modeling world. Although most of the time we communicate in social networks, I love to meet my friends in person and have some fun. How about a hobby that tackles all categories? I joined community farming, so I am learning how to grow my own food, connect to others, get a sweat out of it for sure, think about creative ways to cook my produce and film the process of growing it, but not yet making money out of it though.

❤ I'd add a hobby that you enjoy - sometimes we only think of hobbies that grow us. Good to also think of hobby for enjoy as a priority. Going movie or watching anime at home. This way you know your go to options for enjoyments or can explore new. Most likely this overlaps with others though. I learn from your content. I really love this concept, thank you. I'd like to encourage some people in the comments to try a martial art, most preferably Aikido. This is my "hobby to keep me in shape", and I absolutely love it. Aikido is the right amount of physical exercise for me and is calming and helps me clear my head. Im sure that at least one person in the comments would feel the same. Now I just need to find a hobby to make me money. Any suggestions?
