It's very rare for J Hope to cry at a concert like the other members. BTS had a concert outside of Korea, J Hope knew his mother was coming to his concert, he surprise her with a song he wrote for her called "MAMA" thanking her for supporting his dreams, beautiful song, he even had a large choir backup singers, he gave a little speech, then he cried....It was so touching, had everybody crying.....On the screen they were showing all of his baby picture, He was an adorable, baby, & a fashionista...I love Hobi, he is my bias wrecker, the way he thrust his hips when they are performing "BAEPSAE" the members stand back & let him do his thing...he goes all in..

I think the lyrics are 'wish on a scar' instead of 'star' because this concept isn't actually a happy, perfect one u.u The things that Hoseok dreams about - being able to party, being able to cry freely, being able to experience love and not worry about having to make calculated moves - they're all things that normal people get to experience all the time. He may have a lavish life, being an idol, but he doesn't get to have these normal things that everyone else can have. Only in his dreams or daydreams. It's very bittersweet. Hoseok said that he wrote this song as a way to be honest to people about the things he lacks and the real way he feels about it, but in the end, the lyrics are a bit /too/ real, which is why he made the music for the track fun and dance-y. It's kind of deceptive that way. I feel like that plays to Hoseok's actual personality. He appears fun and silly, but actually, he's pretty shy. He acts goofy to make people happy and to help them feel comfortable, mainly. And also, yeah, Hoseok has no bones xD lol

He's not necessarily called the Michael Jackson of kpop that title is for Taemin, another kpop idol who's known as Korea's Michael Jackson (suggest you check him out, you'll love him!) but J-hope is one of the best dancers in kpop along with Ten (NCT, SuperM, Wayv), & Taemin. Jhooooope. Hobi (one of his nicknames) is one of the most amazing person, he is humble and always happy, but he does have bad days. So he always tries to stay positive for his members and ARMY, j live these reactions. Keep going.

Jung Hoseok/Hobi was born Feb. 18th 1994. He's from Gwangju SK. Hobi has one older sister who is into the fashion scene (She makes her own jewelry as well. Many ARMYs have shown her support and buy her bracelets. The members of BTS actually wore her bracelets before and mentioned getting them from Hobi's sister.)His father is a literary teacher, and unfortunately both parents didn't agree with Hoseok's choice to pursue music. Before that though Hobi found his love of dance when he was in the 6th grade, the song that inspired him was (recently revealed to be) Chicken Noodle Soup by Webstar and Young B. This led him to joining a dance group by the name of Neuron while in high school. He became a locally famous street dancer and he's won a ton of competitions with his group. This led him to going to Seoul and signing up for a broadcast competition that was put on/sponsored by JYP. The misconception some fans have is that he auditioned for JYP/Was a trainee for JYP. He was never either of those. JYP let the dancers use some of their dance studios while the competition was going on. Hoseok made it all the way through and won the grand prize. After that is when he was asked to Audition for BigHit who then signed him on as a trainee. In 2009 he was a trainee along side RM and Suga. Hoseok had some vocal training when he was younger cause he liked to sing but he loved dance more. Now at that time they were looking to put together an all rap/hip hop group. There was only one thing wrong, Hobi didn't know how to rap. However he did like the music, and with some coaching from RM and Suga Jhope found his rap voice and style. After a while in either late 2010 or early 2011 he moved into the Dorm after auditioning to be in the group we now know as BTS. In 2012 Jhope was the only member allowed to perform pre-debut, he was asked to collaborate with his senior Jo Kwon on a song called Animal. They performed this song live and Hobi practiced with them for it.(Most of the members can be seen in a few Jo Kwon MV's but only as background people/ dancers. they never got to perform with anyone predebut) Hobi proved at that point that he really was a talented guy. But he struggled, in 2012 he literally left. He went back to gwangju to his family. RM gathered the other members and talked to them about needing Hobi in their group. He took the words of the other members straight to CEO Bang Si-hyuk and asked for permission to leave Seoul and bring Hoseok back. Bang Sihyuk asked one question- Why? RM poured out everything he felt, everything the members had said. He was given permission to bring Hobi back and that's just what he did. To this day RM calls Hobi the pillar of BTS. He's a mood setter but he also helps RM tremendously by supporting every member and with RM he tries to help him stay at ease, since being the leader is a stressful job. Hoseok has been called the mother of the group, he tends to take care of everyone. Makes sure everyone is staying on their tasks especially when it comes to dancing. All in all Hoseok is an amazing person, who use to get a lot of hate- anti's trended Hoseok leave on Twitter once, calling for Hobi to leave the group because he was 'ugly'. ARMYs got right on that shit though and shut it down as fast as possible. He's had death threats like some of the other members, he's managed to stick through it though. He's ARMYs sunshine, and honestly we have been calling him the Golden Hyung since around 2014. He can rap, dance, and sing. But most importantly, he makes ARMYs feel loved and special, and he always makes us smile. There really is a lot to be said about each member. Way more can be said about Hobi but I'll leave it at this- This man works hard, and always is thinking of ARMYs(Like all of the members).
