You know what, i've never dugged deep into the lyrics of this song even though I love it so much and JK is my bias...I just assumed it's a really beautiful love song for everyone. But listening to your deep dive to it's lyrics, and being an ARMY who knows about the Bangtan Universe and the theme of the Love Yourself series.......i realized that the song really do implies wanting to be in that "Euphoric state" where everything is perfect with the person/people you love, never leaving the "Utopia"....i know you're not into the Bangtan Universe yet, but when you get to know JK's fictional character then all of this actually makes sense! Even the mv depicts it perfectly. Jungkook's character longs for his friends the most in the story, so he reminisces over the times that they were happy together and wanted to stay like that forever because they were THE cause of his Euphoria. And we all know what happened to him when their group fell apart. I'm yet again impressed with how the song writers were able to create a song that sounds and looks like a very positive love song that can be interpreted in many ways but still connects with the Bangtan Universe's ongoing story, which ARMYs know had very dark underlying meanings. Trully mindblowing.

Personally, what I love about BTS is that they speak very ambiguously when referring to the type of relationships in their music, it can be with anyone: a lover, a friend, a family member, yourself (for bts it also includes army, as they dedicate songs to us at times.) it makes it easy to develop your own approach on a song or a music video because they tend to have multiple meanings. i've seemed to noticed a pattern that's in a majority of their songs. unlike regular mainstream music their focal point aren't those heavily romantized songs where the singers feelings targets a lover but rather targets the listener. once the audience absorbs their music, they can apply their lyrics to their own life or compare it to a piece of literature, or art or leave as it is and say it's fictional. trying to interpret their content, leaves many of us glitching and short-circuting because there's endless theorys & possibilities which all coexist and connect yet they all lead to different outcomes. It's very rare to see that consistently from an artist but it's very authentic, introspective and inclusive. 💜✨️

Jeon Jungkook is my forevey bias...since the beginning(2014) til now. His raw talent in dancing and vocals is just top tier even outside the Korea. As for his personality...the pure kindness, innocence, and child like personality is just out of this world. He basically grows up inside the industry where every bad thing can happen but it is amazing how he can preserve the good in him. That is why my mom is such a big fan of jungkook. She said that she wants to have a son like jungkook, the ideal of parents yeah.

It is divided into 4 parts in a traditional east Asian form/structure of storytelling (called ki seung jeon geyol) there is an introduction, a beginning of action, a change of direction and a conclusion. Euphoria being the first part marks the beginning. It depicts the euphoric feeling of falling in love with another person. other songs follow the act accordingly. Singularity is also a part of the same story and it is the "change of direction" part of the story where the realization that the relationship is suffocating or suppressing them occurs.

Euphoria is one the best songs imo. It has easily became my fave when I was first stanning BTS and JK being my bias. I had it as a tattoo, as well as my husband got one too. Currently, it holds the highest number of streams (by a bts solo) on Spotify. It really sets your mood and uplift it. Bangtan Tv uploaded a video dedicated to Jungkook with Euphoria (DJ Swivel Forever Mix) as background. 💜 I hope you get to hear that version also. It is so healing and calming. The song I recommend is definitely blood sweat and tears. It was one of the first songs of BTS I was ever introduced to (tbh it might have been the first but I can't remember cuz it's been 6 years (my gosh that long. Im amazed at myself)) BS&T is such a good song. It's lyrics, it's choreography, their outfits, the set, the vocals and the rap. This song is so aesthetically pleasing (though most of their mv's are) and it is also based on a book. Demian by Hermann Hesse. It's been a while since I read the book but it's basically about the a small boy growing up in a family with the same Christian morals as everyone else in their lives. But the boy meets Demian, someone who doesn't listen and hold onto every value they are taught in school and through listening to his different perspective Sinclair (the boy) begins to contemplate life. It's the fight between between the good and evil inside and a battle to find one's true self. It's a very interesting read and it fit into the wings (my favourite album) era of the BTS Universe where each of the characters the members play in the BTS Universe (Im pretty sure celeste has a video explaining the BTS universe btw but that is a whole other rabbit hole that will take a while to understand.) are in the stage of their life where they are questioning everything, where their lives are in a state of confusion. Of whether or not something is right or wrong and whether morality matters to them. I also recommend my favourite song ever, Spring day. Since Ive already written way too much, however, I'll let you find out about that one yourself because Spring Day has a lot behind it and you researching and understanding why they made it is, at least I think so, important. What I love about BTS is the way they incorporate literature- books, greek mythology etc. and art in their songs. None of their songs are meaningless and they make you want to know more. Read more. Explore more. Speaking from experience, I think ARMY have learnt so much just through wanting to know more about what the lyrics or their references mean.

Since at times you appear to be interested in learning the Korean language, I was thinking I´d tell you a little about that as someone who did. I am aware of my igonorance when it comes to the 7000 something languages there are, but I in all honesty have never seen anything like it. It is, for me, a very "picture-heavy" language, the words paint a picture in your head. It is so incredibly beautiful. There are very very special words that put an image, an idea in your head, a taste in your mouth, a sensation on your skin, a feeling in your chest. There is a lot of onomatopoia. I guess this is true for every language there is, but something always gets lost in translation, something subtle yet essential to fully understand the meaning and "taste" of the songs. The wording and the particular words chosen convey feelings of euphoria, sadness, desperation, tenderness, at times heartbreak, in a manner the translation is unable to. There are a million different ways you can say the same thing, and the choice between those is what creates the subtleties in meaning and feeling of the songs. Some words and terms do not even exists in the languages I know, but are so very beautiful! Besides that, in speeches, interviews and talks, BTS are so well-spoken. I´d perhaps point out Namjoon, Yoongi and JK here, but all of them are. I also cannot describe the joy I felt when I was first able to understand them, people that have been so dear to me for so long but that I did not understand without someone´s help and consultation. It was very interesting to first hear the things they say and what each of them talks like.

As the song title fits, This song give you a sense of euphoria just by listening to it. One of my favorite go to song on repeat.

Now when you said that the line 'you are the cause of my Euphoria' it's beautiful yet dangerous than it makes more sense to me with the storyline of BTS love yourself series. In 'love yourself: her' they were in love but not because of themselves but because of someone else(which means they are happy because of someone else and not because of themselves) and then in 'love yourself: tear' they were heartbroken and they came to know that what they were experiencing was actually 'Fake love' to themselves (i.e. if you are loving yourself because of someone else than it is a fake love to yourself) then in 'love yourself: answer' they came to the conclusion that the only person who can actually and completely(lifelong) love us is ourselves and we can't experience lifelong happiness if we are loving ourselves because of someone else. So I think in answer the sentence 'You are the cause of my Euphoria' is actually dangerous and instead we should say 'I am the cause of my Euphoria'...I don't know if what I said is completely rubbish but I just tried to use my small brain😅

I am listening to ur reaction video while doing my homework, i always listen to songs/reaction videos and movies/tv shows/variety shows that I like and have already watched when i do my hw, because I feel good listening to various sounds (ex: i like hearing the sounds of cars driving by/people talking&fighting when im sleeping, it makes me feel calm&peace), and i feel like by doing so, i won't be distracted by my phone, but sometimes I will be distracted by the things Im listening for a little bit, and ur voices feel so comfortable and makes me focus, I'm amazed that I'm not distracted by other things at all haha

This song pushed me from the precipice of casual listener to fall headfirst into ARMY. If you’ve ever heard a song or watched a show and thought, “this experience is exactly me”, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. The first time I heard Euphoria, I thought to myself “this is who I am inside”. It felt like I knew the song by heart even though I had never heard it before.
