I was blown away by how synchronized they were and their stamina on such intricate choreography. When I first saw them. Jhope truly is amazing. He not only knows their strengths and weaknesses. He knows where to place then and how far to push them . I was also very impressed with how he got Jin and rm to dance so well. This is not natural for them - they aren't graceful nor have dance rhythm. What helps them both is they have great memories. I think Jin knows the steps bit his body does something different and it throws him off because it doesn't "look right". Anyway- jhope has eagle eyes and Lazer focus. He pushes them to give him 100 percent. They know hes the best and makes them look great. They have the discipline of ballet dancers to me. When you see them stop dancing- they're trying not to pass out from exertion or make faces. That's hard.

JHOPE honestly as joon mentioned before not only he picks up on what namjoon might sometimes not notice in group matters but he especially takes huge responsibility of being an impeccable Dance leader. BTS have always been known for their performances and Hobi being the backbone of why we love their live stages should be more appreciated.

I just smile. Hoseok seems like an amazing teacher. He doesn't seem to get mad but is strict at the same time.

Hobi is the reason everyone who sees them dance talks about how perfectly in synch they are, how clean the dance is. They are the best!!!

A 4-minute performance on stage is the culmination of likely 10-hr days, weeks, months of seemingly endless practice, rehearsals. The convergence of these 7 to 1 BTS is a miracle in probabilities...so definitely Destiny and Fate played their parts here, including ushering them to BigHit and PD-Nim, as opposed to the other labels. Feels organic, wholesome.

This is what makes him such a good teacher, he's able to critique but not come off as rude or mean because he KNOWS the dance and puts effort in it himself. Having a leader or instructor who critiques you but can't explain the problem or even knows the dance is not a fun time and comes off as rude or bullying.

J-hope is a skilled dancer, whose started dancing at 10 years old at Joys Dance academy, where he would Dance for 8 hours, he then started to also do street dancing and was in a group call NEURON. JH would win contests, so by the time he went to Seoul, he'd already been dancing for 6 years, sadly alot of ARMY dont realise his skill and what he puts into getting the rest of the guys, to get them to a high level, that is why he has the title of dance leader. NEURON are all pro dancers. Nowadays the guys independently have very successful careers Like HOTS doco Boogaloo kin said, he didn't say yes to doing this doco when Hobi asked, he said i didn't say yes because your in BTS, i said yes to Ho-soek

It's like being an actor/director in a movie who not only knows their lines and cues, but everyone else's. Then they calmly tell you when you get even one word wrong. Hobi's patience and diligence shows that dance isn't just his job but his life! I'm amazed how dancer/choreographers can remember sequences even years later. Awesome! The cool BTS performances are all a credit to him. He wants them to work hard and do their best. Imagine if he left the group early on? What would happen to the quality of performances? Could Jimin do as well leading?

Hobi is the best dance leader I've ever seen. He is often seen laughing a lot and being the adorable sunshine that he is, but when he's in dance leader mode, we see a different side of him which feels mysterious yet attractive at the same time. But even in his dance leader mode, he is still the same sunshine, kind and humble and pays so much attention to details and the fact that he can spot mistakes right away proves it. When he went as a mentor to teach Fake Love to some trainees, he smiled all the way through at them, even bought them snacks too, and that says a lot about what a lovely person our sunshine Hobi is 😊🌞💜

what's really amazing about j-hope is that he knows when to be serious and get things done and also when to be just silly and have fun because he senses when the mood and energy of his team is low. What I love most about BTS Dancing is that while they are synchronized they all still have their individual style of dancing and are not trying to change that. A lot of groups have amazing choreographies and amazimg dance abilities and are completely synchronised but I couldn’t necessarily tell who is who just by their dancing. BTS is just… different 💜

Choreo QC checks are when hobi turns from prey to predator, eagle Hope just swoops down to catch any mistake, and leaves no stone unturned until you get it right. The harsher the teacher is, the more they want to help you get it right and attain perfection, after all anybody can make mistakes but they are not just anybody, they’re BTS. Not to mention people work differently, some feel that it’s okay to make a mistake once in awhile, but others may also have the mindset that it’s not okay because you might give yourself too many chances in the future, so prevention is better in that sense. They’re worldwide idols and role models for everyone therefore it’s understandable for hobi to want to achieve perfection not just for himself but for the group as a whole. He learned that from dance and made sure every member kept to the formation. In Kpop unsynchronised dancing stands out rather obviously and it shows you do not think or act as a whole group or put thought into minor details which could have major impact on how the performance is viewed. Many Armies think that he’s scary or too demanding of his own members. But bear in mind that he doesn’t need to go through all the effort to make them as perfect as he is, but still he did so and wanted to present the best of his own group’s performance to their beloved fans. A perfectionist is hard on others, but harder on his/herself. And I feel that many misunderstand that his assertiveness and strictness in catching mistakes to be something mean, frightening or negative when he was just correcting something to make it better. Even if he was actually scary or if he did scold someone, something to note is that nobody serious in their craft actually plays around when it is their job and pressure is on them to make it right. He was not chosen as dance leader for nothing. His musicality, expressions, stage awareness, understanding of point movements, isolations, spacial awareness, assertiveness, sharpness, experience, beat sense, sensibility, leadership quality, listening skills are all there. BTS is in safe hands and feel more secure with him around to guide them and see what’s off, after all their real choreographer can’t be flying to every country or be present in every single practice without fail. So that’s when hobi steps in to bring the group together. Thank you for making this video, you do understand that there is a reason for why certain things are the way they are, and for reminding others that he shouldn’t just be known as a scary dance leader who only knows how to pick on mistakes. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😀😀😀
