He's just choosing not to play based on what he's seen of the game. Anyone can choose not to have a reason to play a game. I dislike the woke elements of the game, but the other aspects are more than enough for me to like it. Disliking woke things is a legitimate thing.

Best game of the last two decades EASILY. It's my 2nd favorite game of my 27 years of gaming. Only losing to Ocarina Of Time.

@EpicwinFTW27 Exactly! When I saw the transmog system for this game I expected full outfits to be in a cash shop. Because that is in every game today and was pleasantly surprised when there were no microtransactions outside of editions which is also something every game does today.

@Your Favorite Bucket Oh not even that, but you can earn specific cosmetics through specific challenges in the game. For example, I got my favourite broom simply by exploring and popping some balloons for practice flying, which in turn made me better at the time trials while also getting cool new stuff. The loot system in my mind was rather tedious, and wholly unnecessary, but you are right that it scratches the gamble itch many people have with game loot boxes without making people pay for them. My one major complaint is the level system itself, there is no need for it. Most everything levels with you or slightly above you, and the gear becomes a constant inventory micro management. If they locked the talent points behind challenges instead of levels and scrapped the grind, this game would be even better. There is no New Game Plus for example, so while I didn't have to grind since I was having fun exploring, it would be a massive grind for the other three houses.
