極楽寺町のだんじりを作るための原木を製材所で扱えるサイズに切断しました　はやく　だんじりに会いたくなりました。

What kind of tree is that? It’s the biggest and most flawless cut wood. It’s a treat to watch these men to be so meticulous and also respectful of the wood they’re cutting.

Looks like a very old red oak log. It also appeared to have been in salt water for some time.

I think there is a small tank between the rails, next to the mottor, you can see the cap

and when doing the horizontal cuts, you can se ehim pumping a small lever

@@xxxavier63 The lever you see the operator pumping is a small cable hoist that puts tension on the saw carriage and pulls the chain bar through the wood. Good view of it at 10:48.
