Where can we find the detailed measurements of these speakers?

1 thing's 4 sure = if he cares so much about 'natural directivity' Y the fuk isn't he doing omnidirectional speakers? Because it's all just 'word salad' 2 peddle what should be $300 speakers for $6,000 instead = no joke.

@@Deathrape2001 Cant say you are wrong... I bought the jbl horn used in the 30k per single Strauss mf 2.1 for about 100 bucks...its used but I mean its a horn lol.... I have a pair of Axi2050 compression drivers, a 15" mid with dual 18" on the bottom by Acoustic Elegance, all top shelf drivers... self designed baltic birch cabinets and crown cts amps with usp4 dsp. Plans to experiment with horns and waveguides but most importantly... no where 60k spent yet higher performance.... Strauss is a marketers wet dream come true.... yes they use top shelf components but the price is outrageous. They did not design anything specifically that makes the mf 2.1 worth that price. It is a simple two way that has bern wisely crossed over at 400hz with a discontinued horn designed by jbl many years ago. Anyone can build it themselves for under 10k possibly including amp and dsp... an aluminum enclosure is not needed, rather, a 2% increase in performance that will go un noticed...🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ Ive spent the last 3 years studying the Strauss mf 2.1 the jbl m2, and many others and am confident in my knowledge base, as it was spoon fed to me by highly respected designers and mathematicians... ty God for the internet 🤣🤙

@@Deathrape2001 for the reasons stated above you can not find any measurements of Strauss products... Measurements will expose the truth and allow scientific analysis of these speakers compared to others.... really bad for marketing Strauss has literally flown to peoples houses to install and tune the systems for customers, one customer wanted a different color horn, repainted them for free... at 60k a set.... I would have too. A plane ticket and some white paint is hardly a dent in the profits seen here... The lack of measurements for this loudspeaker by 2022 is evidence in a cover up. One day a pair will surface in the right hands and extensive measurements will be taken and shared and the truth will exposed... Great speakers? Yes... Worth 60k worth of performance? Hell no!!!

@@camploismyalias All horns, regardless of design, sound like absolute $hit compared 2 even most basic soft dome tweeters. U don't need a low crossover point. U can use a smaller midrange driver, like 8" =) 15 is retarded, even 12 = way 2 'beamy'. Your system is a failure, & U should go the 'direct radiator' route. LOL @ pretending 'hi fi horn' HAHAHA That's like 'jumbo shrimp' =)) If U want it louder, or more efficient, add more drivers & power. This is not like 1930 where U gotta' squeeze 'concert voume' from 3 watts of tube sludge LOL

@@camploismyalias The only measurement that matters is how they sound to human ears =) If there is some random fluke where a certain strange set of errors makes things sound more realistic, then that is a superior design, even if it may 'measure' less 'mechanically' ideal. I was chuckling from the instant I saw the non-flared ports, but lot of other flaws in the design, + very ugly. Simply REMOVING the cabinet & going 'open baffle' gives a LOT more clarity, & if U add a sub it's fine =) Any time U enclose any driver U muddy up the details big time. It's part of why Linaeum style tweeters, though flawed in some ways, sound better than domes, because more room behind the membrane = less compressed or distorted or spitty, & none of the weird straw-like resonance round ports make at high frequencies in 'vented tweets'. Only decent 'planar' style stuff I've heard is the Carver AL3 = not harsh & jaggy like others. Lots of people use 'BG' panels though, but overpriced & unreliable. Can get almost as good simply by adding a few more domes in a line array =)

You are right. Consumer home hi-fi speakers mostly introduce sound coloration through directivity patterns and have much higher distortions.

@MK The 2-way loudspeaker was first developed by Edgar Villchur and Henry Kloss in 1953, The JBl Horn he uses was released by jbl in 1997...the TAD Woofer and compression Driver are Old products as well....non of these things were designed by him.... He is simply a middle man... Take good drivers and a good horn, put them in a good enclosure and call it day. I have studied the Strauss MF2.1. Jbl m2, Oceanway HR3, TAD 2401 twin and the Meyer Blue horn extensively....I know more about them than you, I am certain. You can study my mastering monitor on DIYA audio Forum if you'd like??? This isn't a "I can do it better" type post.... Rather...its a "Stop getting ripped off and build your own stuff" type post...and if Directed at the MF2.1 directly, it is simply way over priced compared to what one will spend building it themselves. 😉😉😉 Simply learn the basics of Loudspeaker design, buy a brand name quality 15" driver and 2" exit compression driver. By the Same Jbl 238X horn... ( I have a pair I can sell you for about 100 bucks) cross the damn thing over at 400hz... but this time use DSP like all the other contemporary products... Call it a fkn day lol!!! I can tell from you perspective you are not a loudspeaker designer... I went to the forums of the internet where all the loudspeaker designers fellowship and spread knowledge and this is my perspective after a good year or two of research, it is unlikely my opinion will change. I can now call myself a loudspeaker designer after my training by many other professional and elites in audio have spoon fed me the art of design. I also put in a lot of my own time doing research and simulations of many various designs. I have come to the conclusion the audio market place is full of uneducated customers waiting to be taken advantage of. Unless you design something that is new and ground breaking, you cannot claim to have spent hours of concept and work...Unless you are referring to the hours of time spent learn BASIC loudspeaker design....which anyone can learn, why is that, special? After you learn all the basics about every loudspeaker type and every loudspeaker enclosure... as I have. You will look to a design like this and say....it is a good design. But why does it cost so much???? There is no justifiable answer.

@@dougleydorite I can't tell this from the picture of the PSI. The big Strauss monitor however is using JBL drivers and horn. Components from other manufacturers such as Beyma or SB could be used instead with very similar results.

@@danielduesentriebjunior I never would have know that they are using JBL drivers! Hard to believe. As far as the PSI speakers go, they make all or most drivers in house. They also have some sophisticated circuitry to help solve issues all analog
