In the shot where Hrithik (Masked Don) dances with Priyanka, he leads the dance with the exact same moves, which were shown in the earlier movie (Don 2006) in the song “Main Hoon Don”. That is the reason she feels she kind of knows him but doesn’t understand how. It’s very subtly included in the movie.

The Wild Cat dialogue is also from the 70s Don. Infact,Black Eyed Peas song 'Don't Phunk With my Heart' begins with a direct copy-paste sample of 70s Don song 'Yeh mera Dil' :p The problem with Don1 was that since it was a remake, they had to stick to the original names,characters,mannerism, plotline,songs,dialogues that were all iconic leaving very little area for modification or addition. Don2 was a clean slate.

Hrithik is so underutilized man. He's so talented in every aspect regardless of his physical drawbacks like injuries, slip discs and he had a brain surgery too. He is literally perfect to play an Indian origin James Bond imo. The only actor who justifies nepotism to the fullest.

I remember being so surprisingly shocked seeing Hrithik in Don 2. Can't wait to see him in Tiger 3 or Pathaan. That will be a treat for all the fans. The spy verse that YRF will create will be the biggest crossover in Bollywood history. The theatres will turn into stadiums. CAN'T WAIT

Also, coming from the trailer of Heropanti 2 and people criticizing how its garbage... Well, we did have a lot of sensible good films which very few people watched. Bollywood produces a lot of shitty low effort films cause the still do well at the box office.

Weird that no one has mentioned this, but Hrithik Roshan was originally supposed to play Don in the remake, due to scheduling conflicts, S.R.K. ended up getting selected. H.R. being in the sequal is a little nod to that.

No it wasnt due to scheduling conflicts if you read in wiki for don then you will know that farhan wanted more mature actor and hrithik innocence was not right for role and hence srk was selected.srk was most suitable for this role he has the persona,style,sense of humor,sheer magnetism that character requires

I don't know if it was Farhan's instruction to Hrithik to pick up SRK's tics and dialogue delivery or if Hrithik himself decided this...but it's done so well! They even colour corrected Hrithik's hazel eyes and got rid of his double thumb on his right hand to sell the fact that this isn't Hrithik but actually SRK under the mask.

Farhan Akthar is no doubt a good film maker. His first film "Dil Chahta Hai" proves it. To be fair to Farhan, the first part of Don, was a remake of an old famous movie also called "Don" starring Amitabh Bachchan, which came out in the 70's. He unfortunately didn't have much to work with because there already was story and a screenplay, that too, one which was written way back in the 70's. Don 2 is his original story and screenplay. That's why its so much better than the first one.

He simply pointed out fact that people in comments section are pissed off cos Jabs didn't attempt to understand Don 1 as he was indulged in mockery and silly jokes. No one hates him for not liking the movie. People are upset cos Jabs purposefully ignored to pay attention and understand such basic movie plot and later complained about not understanding it.

The problem with the first one is that it was a straightforward remake of the story with minute changes, which was not a cool move as it was playing with nostalgia and the story didn't fit with the present time. But the ending of Don opened up possibilities and Don 2 is the result. The plot and action are inspired but still the story still holds good. The cinematography and hand to hand action was the best part of this installment. I still believe that there should have been a prequel movie, then an improvised remake of the plot of 1978 Don and then this one.

Check out hritiks right hand in this movie. It's not 6 fingers there ...and the dance move where Priyanka gets suspicious...thats the same dance move they did in don 1.
