Playing these through a decent hifi system and the the bass guitar is tremendous. Deep and resonant and, obviously, brilliantly musical. Gary’s guitar is excellent. If anything, the drums are a bit splashy, on this track anyway.

This is great. Moore on the SG and Bruce on the Gibson EB -1 violin bass. I remember the Cream reunion a few years back at the Albert Hall and was disappointed to see Clapton walk out with the Strat. Jack used one of his EBO Basses & Leslie his famous Les Paul Jr. with Corky playing his ass off on his usual kit. . What a great show & if memory serves tickets were like 6.50 cents. Corky still with us but we all miss Jack & Leslie very much. No one like either of them.

Gary blended so well with Jack. On par with what Eric could do. Bottom line is the songs of Cream were mostly Jack's songs. It was Jack with "his other two bandmates." And here, you can see that Jack could be with another 2 bandmates and sound just as good.

Bill, not sure what video you were listening to. This recording is quite good, but has one flaw, and it's the one you say is "blended so well". Gary's guitar is hammering everything else in the mix. Including the vocals.

They played together a lot. First time was for a Cozy Powell album in the late 70s, if I'm not mistaken. Then Jack sang on "End of the World" from Gary's Corridors of Power album in 1982, and Gary joined Jack for his 50th Birthday concert in 1993, which was followed by the BBM album. The original line-up for that was meant to include Gary Husband like the video above, and that same line-up also recorded "Blues for Narada" and "With Love (Remember)" for Gary's 1994 compilation ("One Day" is a BBM outtake), plus played together again in the late 90s and did a few more tracks for a John Lee Hooker tribute.
