Gorgeous arrangement of yet another of Jack's quirky melodies. No one else writes like this, sings like this, and never will again. Thanks for 50 years of genius Jack.

The little glance between Jack and the cello player at the end is priceless. A wordless moment shared.

At the end of a small coffee house show in Montreal back in the ‘70’s headlining Ellen McIlwaine, she finished the evening with thanks to her bassist and drummer mostly unseen who had been creating the incredible rhythmic melodies back in the dark corner of the room. When she mentioned her deep gratitude to her friend and bassist Jack Bruce, my jaw dropped in astonishment and I missed who the drummer was whom she also warmly thanked. I managed to get Ellen’s autograph on my vinyl album of hers but Jack was already gone from the room. Now that’s one time travel I’d love to have, to get back there just for a moment to thank Jack for all this beauty he created.

This is so good. Such a good version of this brilliant composition. Though I wish there was a way to hear it without the interview interrupting the music. This should seriously be on a record of some sort!

Ingramdumpkiss What the hell. My comment wasn't a negative comment towards Brown at all. Where'd you get that? If it's negative towards any one it's negatve towards who ever did the editing of this programme splicing the interviews with the performances.

Wow! The strings bring out the strains of "doom" Pete Brown mentioned during the interruption. Bruce's voice is so strong! I think this version beats the original.
