I like Taylor, but he lost the first fight. When the first fight finished I switched it over before the decision, a bit later seen the headline Taylor won and thought it must have been a mistake, shocking decision, and I was wanting him to win.

Taylor seemed very sensible giving good answers and not getting overly hyper, Jack seems too emotional still over the first fight and that could affect his performance.

Josh Taylor got himself to the very elite level of the sport, winning the undisputed title and beating every top opponent along the way. Jack Catterall has never been better than a domestic level fighter. Taylor hasn't shown up for his last two fights though - he either isn't living the life and/or his legs have gone. Whoever wins, it's probably not going to get any better than this going forward.

Caterall has done nothing else to suggest he's far superior. Taylors run to 4 belts is one of the most impressive achievements in modern British boxing. Nobody was picking him to win. Was supposed to be a walkover.

@@SurprisedDodoBird-py2dl I’ve watched jacks career from him being 21, like I said, I thought he’d beat Taylor, yes it was a big step up in opposition, but that’s not jacks fault, he proved me and everyone else that he belongs on that stage. Hasn’t had the opportunity before that fight for belts etc. but let’s be real….he should be undisputed. First fight was a complete robbery. So most people see him as undisputed… only biased Taylor fans don’t give him his credit. Taylor knows he lost but keeps denying that he lost, hence the reason he has lost a lot of respect.

Love boxing and watched the fight and on the night thought catterall won I was a Taylor fan when watching. But rewatch the fight with no commentary and I it was Def closer and can see how judges scored it. My good friend told me about this and it works I do this with all close fights but this one Def try it. Best luck 2 both jack Def deserved rematch ❤

I think because when you watch it back you are looking for reasons Taylor may of won. Taylor comes across as a knob but because he is scottish i support him but he lost the fight by a long margin

Funny, it was the opposite for me. I thought it was closer when I first watched it. I had Jack winning by maybe a round. Then saw it again, like you without the commentary, and thought the gap was a lot bigger.

Commentators give us all biased I have been watching boxing for years look back at some close ones ya have no affiliation too canelo golovkin for 1 ya can see how the judges scored them. But you maybe right mate I scored it close with no commentary and could see closer than I thought that's all I'm saying I didn't say I thought josh won mate. A fella who boxed told me 2 do that with no audio and ya can see it's closer than on the night. What ya think for result of this one?? I'm thinking Taylor ya can bring this comment up if Jack destroys him llf Taylor was poor against Lopez but he's 1 of my fighters I like I fancy lopez against anyone even against Loma I picked him

Taylor does seem to be going through a period where he keeps picking up injuries. It gets harder to make weight the older you get, really think he should have moved up after he unified. Hes looked so sluggish in last two fights yet seems convinced it’s his preparation that has been poor. If it had been then it’s unprofessional but I think he struggles with the weight his life outside the ring seems to be problematic I think catterall wins this on points clear.

A common trend in JT fights are suspicious scorecards. Postol at least won 6 rounds but one judge gave him 1 round. Josh should have losses. He cannot fight slick counterpunchers. Regis, Teo and Jack all beat Josh imo. Josh is a weight bully. He knows he would get annihilated by the top WW. He claimed he was weight drained at 140 but now he is lying. He has an excuse in place of Jack beats him again.

Catterall boxed the best he has ever boxed yet he cannot get a fight with anyone else. Most likely down to his boring style. Taylor never been the same since he left McGuigan. Taylor's best night and career ended on the night of the Prograis fight.
