Its criminal that as an undisputed world champion, Taylor has never got the public recognition outside the boxing world that he richly deserves, but its hard to see how he accepted the Lopez result with grace but still insists he beat Catterall. Yes Catterall probably isnt as good but he was robbed of a once in a lifetime chance.

I thought Taylor won the first fight, I judged it exactly as Andre Ward judged. He was ringside, I was a thousand miles away at a screen. I also think Taylor will win the second fight by unanimous dec.

I watched in korea with the british commentary and I though Jack edged it by a round or 2 plus the point off. Didnt see some of the supposed good work and domination they said but i did first viewing think he won it. Then i watched it with no commentary and scored it closer to what Andre Ward scored it. Also the ref who scored it for jack scored it by 1 round so minus the knockdown Jack wouldn't even have had one winning scorecard....... Think like most that the best Taylor beats Catterall but the question is, is the best Josh Taylor still there?

In one respect they are telling us they are CLASHING and then they are trying to get them to shake hands and be civil- if you want to promote the needle in the fight don't try to ensure that they are best mates on your show.

This is a very dangerous fight for Josh. Jack’s combinations and power might be too much for Taylor. But the world needs to stop underestimating what Taylor can offer as Teofimo was top top quality that night ,who was the better man. But Jack needs to be on his game for a wild fight

@Psykotiks Josh was world champ by Catterall's age and in terms of him blowing his chances he was the first 4-belt undisputed champ Britain ever had. I don't see how that constitutes failure. He lost to Lopez who is miles, miles above Catterall. If he loses to Catterall he is done. Catterall will never be a world champ either way.

To still, so disrespectfully, say that "there are levels", inferring Josh is somehow better than Jack, shows how little this Simon plum knows about boxing! The Cat handled Josh and embarrassed hm. He's since totally outclassed Jorge Linares who was fit sharp and well up for that fight. Albeit Jorge is on the slide now, but even so, to so comfortably outbox him suggests to me that the Cat's boxing skills are elite level. I would like to see a bit more spite from Jack, though, and more front foot aggression 🥊
