That's the genius of it. Think about other comedian pairs. Lucy and Ricky, the Smothers Brothers, George Burns and Gracie Allen are a few. One is the straight man and the other gets the laughs. Jack Hanna is brilliant and has a phenomenol sense of humor, that's why he can make Dave (funny in his own right) his straight man.

LOL!!! Yeah, something like that. I remember when Dave's show was awesome every night. I can't even watch him anymore. He just bothers me. Don't even get me started about Leno. I used to think he was really funny, but I lost all respect for him. I like Conan O'Brien, but Leno sabotaged his show, which was the clincher for my loss of respect for him. I was lucky to catch them all when they were all still great performers. I don't like any of them anymore. The whole talk show scene went to shit.

Yeah, it only took 25 years to get his act together. No big deal. He made a complete ass of himself numerous times, and made the zoo look like they hire a dimwitted airhead as their director. Yeah, chalk it up to bad acting skills. I don't think he's inexperience. I know he's well educated, and knows the science, but the guy is dangerously absent minded, and careless at times. I still think he's very entertaining though. Don't get me wrong. I just wouldn't trust him to run a zoo.

That's what people have been wondering for the past 25 years. The guy is a bumbling moron, yet, he's also the friggin' director of the Columbus Zoo. It just boggles the mind. He must have friends in high places.

All that might be true, but I've watched this guy put animals in danger, watched him let reptiles loose, he let a sloth climb onto a paper shredder, etc. No, he's a bumbling moron, and I wouldn't trust him to walk my dog, much less run a zoo. It's amazing that he does, but there are equally ignorant people running court houses, hospitals, business firms. They all have college degrees, that doesn't really mean anything. Especially when the degrees come from American universities. Sorry!!

Well, I used to run the Columbus zoo, then they gave the job to some numbskull who could barely put one foot in front of the other. LOL!!! I think he was giving the employers sexual favors.
