Also starring Susan Hayward, Virginia Mayo, Ralph Morgan, and Regis Toomey, this biopic from Samuel Bronston Productions (King of Kings, El Cid) is an exciting look at the true adventures of a rugged and remarkable American icon.

1 hour "in" : reminds me of the old film (s), "Cimmaron", where the wife was always sad , seeing her husband go dashing off on some adventure.... ( enjoyed the book by Edna Ferber : conjured up the atmosphere of the times rather better than the film, I thought, and Glenn Ford was just about perfect as the husband).😊. I'd like to cast this film ( "Jack London") for a re-make.... 😊⭐🇬🇧🐕🇺🇲😊

The film has a tremendous musical score by Fredrick Rich, a very talented composer. Unfortunately, he died way too soon.
