I just bought the Kong Zoomie Brush... my Leo is a broken coat JRT and he sheds sooo much! Hope this helps. Thanks for the suggestions.

Josh & luna. In Oz *(Australia) we love your blog's. What I've learnt with Aggie is always have the shower kid warm and treats. We use fidao shampoo and conditioner which is made here. No reactions as etc. I talk & tell her to shake before i dry her. All her towels ..im go to a doggie own wash. The nails; i leave to the vet. It doesn't cost $ as to many friend's have clipped and it's cost a fortune. Anyways; great tutorial. Be safe keep up the good work

From South Africa here.., love your posts. I have a rescue short haired JRT and she doesn't like water at all. I did lots of research into bathing, and the rule of thumb seems to be, you should only bath them if they develop an odour. Bathing strips their coats of the natural oils that keeps their skin moisturised, and also keeps their coats surprisingly bright white. If mine has rolled in something, I give her a good wipe down with soap free baby shampoo and a very moist towel. Regular dry brushing is great as they shed so much, and at the same time is an essential bonding ritual for you and your pup - Nails, I also leave to the vet... Let me know if you want more info or references on how often to bath your dog

I use the shower as well and do it when its my bath time too. My boy accepts bath time like Luna which is good. Brushing out is a good tip too. Does anyone have a male who expresses aggressive behaviour to certain other dogs and what do you do to prevent or curb it? Its all bluff and bluster but is annoying .

Just Ann idea, why not try putting a little towel on the bottom of the shower so Luna doesn't slip and slide? I love your videos, keep em coming x

I gave my JTR, Max a bath this morning. He had alot of energy after his bath, running around in the house and I had to play with him, by throwing him his tennis ball.

My JRT Chico has a lot of allergies, I give him a bath in the tub once a week with a special shampoo, I take special attention to his paws. I enjoy your blogs.

Hi, just an idea if your JR is suffering allergies; give it a small amount difference of your local honey in its food. You should see results in 3/5 days. Only bfast or dinner. Don't wash the dog to much; if need to smell "nice"; use an oil such as lavender...rub in hands & warmup then apply to the coat. They will be calm & happy & smell awesome. Hope this helps.jk

i have a boy jack Russell he’s still a puppy ( born feb 6 ) he only weighs maybe 10lbs most and most of the jack Russells i see look bigger.. are some bigger then others? he’s s short hair and has similar markings to your dog, he just seems a-lot smaller.
