Your equipment is amazing. Love the rack you made for the Pioneer set up. You have to be the biggest reel to reel restorer in the world.

Yes Big Matt, Hope you are well sir. Just letting you know I’ve wanted a reel to reel for the longest while, you inspired me to get one. I’m now the proud owner of an almost mint Akai GX625, only issue is the bulb has gone on the play button. Chris from the UK

Hi Bigg Matt, do you know where I can find a Motor Run Capacitor for my Akai GX 630D. The Cap Motor after while starts to drag and stop playing. I will turn Unit off for a moment, start up again, then same thing. Seems like Run Motor Capacitor to me. If any other advice for troubleshooting, please let me know. Also, Great Video. Deciding for next purchase to my collection is the 909 or Akai 646/635. Sounds like from your Video, the 909 has a brighter High-end fidelity. I have a 747 and to me it definitely lowers the highs because of the dbx but gives a clean sound. Thanks... Been a Fan and Subscriber👍
