EIther Notre Dame is going to continue to be a Football Program or they are going to become a Football Organization like Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia.

Oh so he wants Cal and Stanford to join the ACC but he doesn't think ND should be a part of that? So Jack, what's in it for all the other ACC schools aside from travel headache? Either join the ACC with Cal and Stanford or shut it.

American football comes from rugby i think the taxi drive was mixing it up with aussie rules which is similar to gaelic football and maybe descended from it.Basically gaelic football is like a mixture of rugby ,basketball and soccer played with a round ball. Its not near as physical as the taxi man makes out more physical than soccer,doubt if the taxi driver was an irishman

How is having two schools in California good for the student athlete? Not a big deal for football when they play on Saturday, fly charter, and maybe make the trip once a season on average. Can Stanford and Cal (and maybe SMU) increase the payout to the other schools? Doubtful!
