Another favorite garden. Absolutely beautiful! Your ingenuity for solving storm and winter havocs is incredibly inspired. It was easy to use your artistic palate in photos I took in Iroquois’ gardens in a photography class using the “Welcome to the Garden” sign flanked with beautiful floral gardens 😃. Thank you for sharing these tours on YT. Gives me my Mackinac Island fix!!😍

The Iroquois is very lucky to have you and your team for Gardener. The walk was so pretty and the wall redo was genius to do. Any videos on anything you do in the gardening end of will be great any time, do not hesitate to make The Aqua pot one will be great to see been thinking about one and have checked into it here and they will not be getting any so after I watch the video on it I will make up my mind on one. Next stop will be the book you have out to order to look at from home. Stay Safe till the next time.

My husband and I were there the end of June this year and had our 40 anniversary dinner at the Carriage House at the Hotel Iroquois! It was wonderful!

You did a video with the KZfaq channel Garden Answer that I follow. I was so inspired by that video that when my husband and I went to the UP for vacation from NC (to get away from the heat BUT you all had a heat wave over the 4th of July when we were there! lol) we stopped by Mackinaw Island so I could see, in person,what you had done to the house to the left of the Grand Hotel. It was stunning! Since then I have been following your channel and enjoying seeing many of the gardens you planted that we saw in person on Mackinaw that day! :)

Ah so gorgeous. Thank you for the beautiful tour Jack. I’m intrigued by your Aquapots. Will check them out. I’m looking for something I can leave outside in all seasons. It’s a real challenge to move big pots inside during the winter so that they don’t crack or fade due to the cold weather. Thanks for the beautiful tour. Your gardens at the Iroquois are stunning as always. 🌸

Beautiful stuff. Just looking at this video, it seems to me that Jack Barnwell's creativity and vision is most evident when he has to work around nature's forces - the gravel garden by the lake and shade garden in front of the restaurant were my favorite bits. the use of that blue grass was perfection.

Best one yet, Jack. I’ve enjoyed all of your videos but, the pocket gardens and the solution to the washouts was stunning. The use of color in the tough plants, mixed with the tender annuals, gives me hope that I can achieve this look in my own gardens without breaking the bank and my back in upcoming years. Thank you so much for keeping an already gorgeous landscape, beautiful with your artistic eye.

Just beautiful. I just went to Mackinac Island for the first time and walked the Iroquois Hotel gardens and the boardwalk where Grandma’s beautiful Boardwalk Cottage is. What a beautiful island. Got Jack’s book The Gardens of Mackinac Island (signed copy) at The Island Bookstore. So exciting!

Gorgeous gardens. I have enjoyed them many times sipping a cocktail or having a meal on the patio. Love the way you feature texture in addition to color - so important. Also envying your young knees - squatting for long periods and springing right back up!

I like the style of those ceramic aquapots you showed at the end. I hadn't seen that specific style and it's more my taste than a lot of the bolder colored pots. Great that there's a lot of variety within the brand!
