Jackie is an honest person and he can always sense if the other person is kind repsectful and honest with a real interest in him. So, he gave you all the information you asked for. And he told us the viewers also so much more than he usually says, because of you lady. Dear Simi Garewal it is a wonderful experience to enjoy this interview. Thank you so much. I came back for a second time. In his second biography from 2016 we can learn from those things he only told you and no other interviewers. Now, we could read those things but before there was nothing. The only interview that touched on his relationships and marriage was yours. I think the appeal of Jackie was the fact that he was doing those stunts himself and putting the bloopers and his injuries at the end of his movies endeared him to his fans because we felt that he was putting his life on the line to entertain us and we greatly appreciated that. At least I did and I loved him more for that reason.

This is by far the best , in depth interview with Jachie Chan, I love that there's instant connection and great vibes between this beautiful graceful Indian lady interviewer with her lovely British English accent and Jackie seems so happy, funny and completely honest, open , narrating all his life's story from a tough childhood , how he survived his family's poverty, fulfilling his father's will, his love life , how he overcome a lot of hardwork as a stunt man , suffered a lot of injuries during each filming for his Asian fans and ultimately gain the admiration , respect from millions of fans from the US and to become a global icon.... It was not only his love for doing comedy action movies but also his love for the underprivileged children that he cares about... I've heard about Peking opera but never this much and details from his training, its just crazy, I cannot even imagine it. I became teary eyed..what an interview!! credit must go to the brilliant Simi Garewal..an articulate, humble and gracious lady who always connects to her interviewees because she is genuinely interested in the person she interviews..and of course the man who is unapologetic about his past because it has shaped him to become the compassionate, wonderful human being he is today - Jackie Chan. I love the fact that he truthfully accepts his mistakes; just makes him even more appurtenant. He does not hide under a cloak of lies to come across superficially ethical. He is as real as you and i, making him the perfect celebrity.

I dont think i have seen #JackieChan being so comfortable with any Host! He just seems to have eased into Simi's wavelength. Considering his limitations with English, this was a smooth interview*. What #SimiGarewal could bring out of Jackie is amazing!! Probably one of the best Jackie Chan interviews ever! *(I wrote this before i heard the last part. Jackie himself agrees that he didnt feel it was an interview)!! The only wrong Simi did was to say that Jackie wasnt that good looking. Well, look at young Jackie in 12:57. He is handsome!!

I had never imagined his life would have been like that. He had gone through so much since before he was born and then that peiking opera school that tortured him and all the students. From 7-17 its the most important age for a person because you build ypur personality ,your thoughts, your character. What you develop during that age will be the fundamental of the rest of your life ,thats how important that age is. And to hear that during those 10 long years he was only taught how to be strong and rutheless but never taught how to love, how to respect,how to be a decent human, to know that during the most difficult period of his life ( going from being a little kid who needs love from grown ups to a teenager who also will want to develop sexual attraction towards other people to an adult who maybe needed the world to understand him) and he had none of this things. The most important things in life. To love and to be loved. To show compassion and to feel compassion. He was never shown what love really is, he was never shown love in his life , he never knew what love can do or how to be loved feels like so i dont blame him for not loving anyone and for sort of being a play boy. I liked how honest he was about not wanting to marry and how he understood he had to take responsibility for his son. I also liked how he was honest about the part of him being selfish and only caring about money and fame. Most of celebrities start their careers for the same reason and continue for the same reason and never admit it . So i really liked how he admitted that "Yes. I wanted to be rich, i wanted to be famous, i wanted the whole world to know me" he didnt hide it and most importantly he wasnt ashamed from that. In many interviews i have seen of Jackie i always thought of him as a person who doesnt feel love and is always in search for adventures,a person who cant slow down . Like not really a person who wants to marry or has a family or children. Cuz i never saw him as a husband or father. I never knew why i felt this but guess i was right . And guess we cant blame him. This interview was amazing and it showed me(us) a side of Jackie that i never knew existed

Such a beautiful interview ... I remember watching this show on star world channel every Sunday and loved it so much very easy going show not like shows nowadays less talk more gossip... It revolved around the guest and their lives, their success, failures, fears, emotions, family and anything and everything about them which made them what they were/are today. I wish she would comeback and save us. Simi has such elegance, charm, sophistication, manners, respect, admiration, and above all acknowledgement that her guest and their lives are the star of the show and not her yet you cannot miss her in the conversation.
