Nowadays people make fun of his voice, but he was trained opera singer. Before his acting career he was a singer/Voice actor with over 20 albums in 5 different languages, most of them awards winnings and billboards toppers. He even sang the beauty and the beast and mulan theme song for Disney.

I have a huge respect and admiration for JC who did not have a formal education in English in school , he just learned it by himself tru songs and watching TV. ...he is fast learner for a non English speaking from Hong Kong. ...I truly am impressed his English has improved a lot tru the years.....he is so diligent 😍😘💙💙💙

For a few seconds, I read that as 'One of my ~first~ /karate/ perperformances, I made Jackie my #1' 😅😅 Only funny cuz it would've actually made sense for this video, but I only mis-read it, cuz I read it faster & there's this theory where you can read words as different than they are, if the word starts & ends with most of the same letters as the other word.. 😆😄👌 Like karate and karaoke of course haaha. 😝

Well, then it will surely shock you that he repeatedly cheated on his wife, disowned his illegitimate daughter and threw his son Jaycee against a wall when he was a baby. In early April 2016, a list published by the ICIJ revealed that Chan was involved in the tax and money laundering scandal published as part of the Panama Papers. I don't know how this sounds to you but for me that doesn't necessarily indicate good character.
