Great interview. I'll soon be a new girl father so I appreciated that question! Also, I hope Jackie plays around with adding emphasis in her raps with changing up the tone and flow in order to have memorable moments in the rap. Her rapping and writing is top tier in my book, but adding in some memorable moments in the rap (like Andy Mineo or Lecrae) could really help it stand out more IMO. I'm sure Reach has the beats, collabs, and hooks on tap already haha

As a CHH artist I believe we have to have people be better versed in CHH that are giving their opinion in the space. Not only do we have lyricists we have a multitude of artists that "can rap"! At this point we even have amazingly gifted battle rappers such as A Ward, Streethymns, Loso ect. Datin is a great lyricist. And I could go on... As an artist with music featured on rapzilla I want us within the space to be kinder to this space and more educated in its rich history from the legacy of Crossmovment on up to what it's become today. Also with Jackie being from STL let's not forget legends like Flame, This'l and J'son.

nobigdyl., J. Monty, Bizzle, Ruslan, Beleaf, LaNell Grant, Parris Chariz, Torey D’Shaun, A.I The Anomaly, Selah the Corner, Fern, Kieran the Light, Battz, & Glenn Ray are all very talented lyricists within Christian hip-hop.

Yea, somebody gon have to put Jackie on Game.. I agree with Indie tribe for the most part, and With her perspective on Aha.. I think she might be looking at relevancy/Popularity too.. There is a lot of fluff in the genre so that could be whats she's judging it off of idk.

Outside of her take on CHH Lyricists (which can be based on her own critical digestion of (certain) music in general)....Her thoughts on the songwriting process is pretty spot on.
