She experienced post traumatic stress disorder even though it was not recognized as a disorder yet back then. She suffered from insomnia and would speak in detail about the assassination throughout the rest of her life 😞 Her behavior captured in the unfolding hours after the event showed a woman experiencing great trauma ( the refusal to immediately take off the blood stained outfit , holding a piece of his brain and giving it to the doctor hoping it would somehow help I would not wish anyone to have to experience something like that

I just read O'Reilly's "Killing Kennedy" and he discussed this clip, I immediately turned to YT to watch it. I also watched JFK's interview on Labor Day with Cronkite, also worth a view.

I was in HS when Kennedy was President. What a wonderful time it was❤. Both JFK & Jackie had a profound effect on the pop culture of 1960’s, they were young and glamorous , Jackie influenced young people to sample higher cultural activities, such as going to the ballet, watching live theater, and supporting local art museums. She also enjoyed going to NYC’s Peppermint Lounge Nightclub to twist the night away😊. When the Kennedy Administration was abruptly terminated, our country lost a lot. It’s now 2024 and RFK, JR is running for President. He is an awesome man who has devoted his life to saving our planet, supporting human rights, and philanthropic endeavors that help the needy. Now is the time to pass the torch his father carried, we need this Kennedy! RFK, JR 2024.

The fact that this poor lady was able to hold up under such unbearable grief & shock is almost beyond comprehension!!. To watch your husband's head get blown open while you sit right next to him must unimaginably horrific!!

Someone expresses compassion for someone who lived through a horrible event. You cannot find compassion because that person was wealthier than you, and you hate them for being wealthier than you. You will never find wealth in this lifetime. Your seething hatred of anyone who has it will block you from anyone who has it, so you’ll never get it. And then you’re angrier. Good luck to you.

Never achieved a single thing on her own? Guess you never had a mother and only valued male pursuits of famous men. But I’ve never heard of you, so I guess you fall into that same category. She had two monumental achievements named John and Caroline.

After a president dies, it’s the vice president that steps up to become the next president of the USA. That’s how they do it. If the first lady wanted to be running for her president, she would need to wait to actually do so closer to the next presidential election after that and if she won she would then become inaugurated on January 20 that following year. They don’t let a First Lady actually become president during the same presidential term her husband served.
