David's absence as a parent is what caused Mark to be the gender-confused mess he's in today. Ben has only been in Mark's life for but a few months, and he's already proven to be more of a father for Mark (i.e. teaching him music, helping him with his school project, etc.) than David ever was.

They're broken up for good now. I knew on the original run of ROSEANNE they would get back together after they broke up because David was still on the show. But when Johnny Galecki left and Jay R. Ferguson stayed, I knew it was over.

I think the wrote Andy out of the show and pretended it never happened like they pretended winning the lottery never happened. And they do mention buying back the lunchbox in one episode of the show. Becky and Jackie were gunna do something with it

Somewhere in the relaunch they lost track of some plot threads. In the original show we thought Bev sold her stake in the Lunchbox to Leon, then it turns out she owned the property all along. Jackie had son Andy with Fred. Finale episode indicated Jackie was actually lesbian, Bev was never really lesbian, Becky & David, Darlene & Mark were really couples, Dan died, and they never won lottery. Then when show resumed, Dan never died, Jackie's not gay, Darlene married Dsvid and had babyl, Becky really was with Mark after all, until he died later, so it's hard to tell what was and wasn't supposed to be show canon. Then again during original run of the show, Roseanne was always mentally unstable, constantly firing writers during mood swings, one of them her own sister, who claimed Roses embellished or lied about her own personal life's details.

They made it clear that the final season of the original show never happened as far as the reboot goes so people need to stop asking these stupid questions

@@janethobbs3896 I don’t think they should have fired her but I understand it. They should have suspended her for 2-3 episodes and then fined her. Problem is they gave her several warnings. I actually thought they were going to fire her before the Roseanne reboot started because she kept tweeting these conspiracy theories that turned out false. Then her kids had to take over her Twitter page and once they started letting her tweet again she became unhinged. It’s sad! I wish Roseanne the best and hopefully she can create another sitcom.
