Before the late cretaceous, after the Jurassic, dinosaurs are taking over the planet more, this time they have more tricks up their... claws? Some dinosaurs have gotten even weirder, but those weirdness were ideal for this place they live in. This is a world that's way more dangerous and heated than anywhere before seen, carnivores are aggressive and herbivores...are just being a typical herbivore, but Nigerasaurus is weirdest one.

Spinosaurus was kind of like the Guardian of the place because spinos don't usually eat other dinosaurs they would rather hunt fish when prey is plentiful its just amazing though to think that the largest Carnivore that has ever "walked" the earth is primarily a fish eater, Great film!

7:35 I apologize to Spino fans, but it's more likely for a Carcharodontosaurus to win versus a Spinosaurus simply because of how slightly larger it is on average. These examples are based on their largest specimen (update as of 2020): SGM-DIN 1 (Carcharodontosaurus) - Length - 42.9 Feet, Height - 11.8 Feet at the Hips, Weight - 8000 Kg, Bite Force - 5952 Psi MSNM V4047 (Spinosaurus) - Length - 49.4 Feet, Height - 8 Feet at the Hips, Weight - 7620 Kg, 4200 Psi The Spino's arms could be a game changer, but since it's shorter than the Carcha, I doubt it! Sources: Scott Hartman, Ernst Stromer, Franoys and Nizar Ibrahim. Bite Forces are from google and Deviant Art.

@@tnb4509 No. Despite being a carcharodontosaurid (which aren't known for having powerful bite forces), Carcharo had the stronger bite, with teeth meant for bleeding. Spino's jaws, like all other spinosaurids, were made for gripping fish. In most disputes, Carcharo would've been the winner, though I'm pretty sure there haven't been a lot of confrontations between a Spino and a Carcharo in real life. Two apex predators of the same size would simply avoid each other and respect each other's space. Spino was proven to be primarily aquatic anyways, so it wouldn't of needed reason to risk its life against a Carcharodontosaurus, unless maybe during droughts or when fish became scarce.

This is very wel done! Yeah, i guess that's probably how a duel between a spino and a carcharo would go. Even though the second took a couple bites ahead, it wouldn't be enough to kill the spinosaurus, because dinos like carcharadontosaurus and giganotosaurus, although big, were *bleeders* instead of *crushers.* Their teeth were sharp and thin, rather frail, supposed to act as knives, and their jaw bones weren't all that massive. The t-rex, on the other hand, had large jaw bones and thick teeth, strong enough to carve through meat and bone, so i doubt any opponent would survive past its first bite. There was a particular portuguese subspecies of torvosaurus who had probably an even stronger bite than the t-rex, judging from teeth and skull sizes, and had functional large arms (like the spino). It was maybe the most complete land carnivore ever.

one can feel the work beyond the animation itself was very well thought out and executed. The realism limitation in my own view is that they're moving with the weightlessness of cardboard figures. The acceleration/deceleration of masses in the limbs and bodies cores make no sense at all. The dynamic engine looks like it's not integrating any mechanization equations instead just articulating the dinos with fairly arbitrary speeds certainly not tied to masses and laws of physics. You don't have to understand mechanics to tell just by watching it. I understand this requires to model muscles forces and how they connect to bones instead of bones alone. Also requires a lot more understanding of how these muscle are excited in what sequence to produce movment. Otherwise it just looks like puppets on sticks or strings or cardboard figures. In fact this would require simulating the brain. The good news is, there is still plenty of improvement possible.

Yes, that is all but no Spino lover will think otherwise. It is like those conspiracy believers, you can’t chance their mind.

Those are rediculous numbers, even for Spinosaurus. The latest remains and studies put the lenght at 50 feet and the height about 13 feet. Those numbers date back 15 years ago while we only had a jaw fragment to estimate how big it was. Now we have half a skeleton, and it was 50 feet in lenght and about 13 feet tall. Weighing up to 10 tonnes. Still the biggest known theropod
