Tips: -In one of the staff's hiding rooms there's a crack on the wall. You can throw a box and get a really dark secret. It is theorized that the manager is a cannibal and eats his employees, that's why Lester goes missing and he says to you "what kind of specimen are you" or something like that. -Beware of the baby is actually written because you never know where the baby is going to be, so try avoiding the lady with the baby as much as possible -When the time goes out, the market closes. That's why you get fired. Also, putting the boxes next to the right aisle before starting the game is the best strategy, so keep doing that!

Being a Walmart cashier, I have been threatened multiple times, hit in the rear bent over stocking shelves at the registers, verbally and physically harrassed and been through many of these scenarios in this game. A lot of retail and grocery workers during this pandemic have had it worse. Thankyou for playing and entertaining like you do sir! You have gotten myself and many fellow associates at my store through many hard and mentally exausting days!

As someone who's currently working in a grocery store as a shelf stocker, I can confirm this game is 10,000% accurate, especially the part where people just appear next to you and pretty much demand where things are while you're busy.

As someone who works for Publix, a grocery store, I can confirm that this is genuinely accurate to how things are. I have a hard time finishing the shelves because people keep coming up to me because they don't know how to read or look for something that they need. It sucks balls, especially when they don't even keep their distance... They're just all up in my face.

I think this might be metaphorical for having social anxiety and working at retail

Watching him be stressed out and angry about customers being mean, stupid, messy, and annoying is so cathartic. I work in a grocery store and people act like it's some undecipherable mystery where we keep the bread like it couldn't possibly be in the aisle with the big sign over it that says "BREAD" in big bold letters!!!

Having worked replenishing shelves in retail, I can confirm this is exactly how it is like. You spend more time showing customers the location of products (many times right next to them) than shelving. Well, maybe minus the throwing the boxes at their faces (not that sometimes you don't want to... xD)

As someone who works in retail, I can 100 percent confirm that every bad thing that happened in this game really does happen in retail. Every emotion you're feeling, Jack, is what I feel when I'm at work. Also, "hang out with my friends on the weekends" yeah, when you work in retail, you don't get weekends off, lol.

i’m a cashier at a very weird store and in my first week i’ve worked there i have been hit on, yelled at, given weird requests, and was even yelled at by a guy because i wouldn’t give him OUR hand sanitizer. by the way, i’m 17 years old, all of these people are ADULTS OVER 21. so yes, you should be terrified of working at retail.
