Forrest is a very pure hearted guy who loves Jenny no matter what s**t she's gone through in her life.

Tom Hanks brother did most of the running scenes. He was a runner and looked just like him. You can tell the difference the brother is slender and has a wider nose and a real beard.

He just gets up and goes! Forrest exemplifies the American spirit! Go Forrest Go! And I love the Jackson Browne song!

Thank you so much for posting this scene. This scene always reminds me of a child who misses the love of a mother or someone special. That wrestless impossible craving to be with the one we love can never be substituted. What an expression of love.

What a great great great song. Zemeckis/Paramount hit a grand slam getting the song with this part of the movie. It’s just so appropriate and goodness even brought a tear to my eyes thinking about how life sometimes takes us running on empty. Quite literally 😆

Jenny was a victim of not only being abused by her father, but being in the wrong place at the wrong time like with that boyfriend that Forrest hit since he was also abusive and caused her to have a complete breakdown and cause her to catch something which was never revealed in the film, but it would have been AIDS/HIV.
@mithunkumar-hs6ni3 жыл бұрын
@@GenGamesUniverse thank you. I never thought from jenne's point of view.

Isn't it funny what Jenny's running away from to seek is bestowed upon Forrest both fame and happiness. Forrest was encouraged and supported fully by his mom to make the best of what he had been dealt with. Most people, including Jenny, could not stand the simplicity Forrest embodies. Yet, it's the repetitive practice makes perfect attitude and true and well-meaning gumption Forrest never quits to do day in and day out that mattered in the long run.
