A B Music n More I own a RANDY RR1 scince year 2003. Absolutly no playing other guitar. Love it. But takes some time to get used to. Not made to be played sitting. Just stand playing. Do you feel confort playing stand (before the Randy Imean)? If not, believe me you will. Tip, adjust guitar stripe to your confort. Lower/shorter point of the guitar body must fit/anchor inner side of your right leg(for right handed guitar). Experiment with right leg forward or backwad related to the other leg. This will give you 2 different poses. Choose tne one fits you best or both(I do both). Hope this helps you enjoy this incredible guitar.

V:s are awesome! It's without a doubt my favourite guitar shape. Very ergonomic, comfortable and balanced. Regarding Jacksons, I think even the cheaper models are quite good. I had a DX10D for years when I began playing, served me well until its retirement. Cheap Floyd Roses have some inherent flaws (ergo, too soft metal), but since these guitars are hardtails, that won't be a problem. By the way, the Captain should totally get a Gibson V. They were quite popular among some blues players when they were first introduced! ;)

Just a note on why why candles, aromatherapy and speed metal equal relaxation. As you approach tempos around 240 bpm, 4 beats per second, the frequency of your brainwaves begin resonating at that frequency. For humans this induces Theta brainwave dominance much like a deep meditative experience will accomplish. Tribal drumming meant to induce trance state tends to be rooted in a backbeat around 240bpm.

The Rhoads model is not comfortable to play sitting down. Even when you wedge the back of the axe against your inner thigh like Lee Anderton is doing, it still feels too low to me, and there's not enough leverage to angle it upwards into a comfortable position. The King V is cut at a better angle for playing while sitting down.

I've been playing for almost 20 years and I bought the JS32T Kelly to treat myself a bit last year. As with most new guitars, it needed a tech visit for fret leveling and nut adjustments. Other than that, the stock Jackson pickups are decent, the tuners feel solid, and the pots haven't failed yet! It's a very nice, fun guitar to have around. I fully agree with the Captain that the neck feels like it could belong in a slightly upper range guitar. And it's also a more stable neck than I expected it to be. Thumbs up Jackson!

That's a very difficult question to answer. Different people will like different things; and remember, spending more money doesn't necessarily mean getting a guitar you'll enjoy more. I've played $500 MIM Strats that I prefered to $3000 American Strats. Go out and try as many guitars as you can, and see what you like. I personally love PRS guitars, but they get very pricey. If you're looking at Les Pauls, though, the new Studios are only $999, and might be an excellent choice. Like I said, go try them all, till you fall in love.

I love V guitars, they may not be the most practical guitars, but they have great panache! I have two and never will give them up! One is a black 1994 Jackson JRR-94 Concept V, this is Jackson's spot model before they started making the Rhoades V as a regular production model. It doesn't have Jackson's trademark sharkteeth inlays but has everything else! It's one of my two very first electric guitars I bought on the same day. Couldn't decide which one to get so I got both. The other one was a red metallic 1984 Yamaha SC-300T Beach Banana. I still have both guitars to this day! The other V is an 1980s vintage Cort Flying V. Oh that reminds me, both of my Vs are MIJ! The Cort Flying V is transparent red with a set neck, an unusual feature of those Lawsuit era Japanese guitars. Both are still in excellent condition and I take good care of them including keeping them in their hard shell case when not being used! Except for those times when they're being displayed and played on.

I just bought one because of how freaking cheap it was. Blown away at the value. One thing to think it's fun at the shop.. another to fall in love with it after a few hours at home. Incredible value. Great tone. Excellent playability. I didn't have to touch anything out of the box! Tune and go! You have plenty of money to swap pickups and hardware later. Honestly, the neck and fretwork are great. Body (natural finish) is mahogany. Can't go wrong.

I just picked up the JS32 (with Floyd) as a beater metal guitar to drop down to C. Plays a lot better than I expected for the price. I was impressed with the pickups too. I thought for sure I would want to dump new ones in but i'm happy enough with the stock ones for what I am using it for. I needed to do a full setup out of the box so if you don't know what you are doing it will require a little extra cash to get it up and running but that is expected especially with a double locking tremolo. My only complaint is the placement of the pickup selector. It's between the tone and volume knob AND under where my whammy bar is so changing it quickly on the fly is a pain in the ass. I wish they would have placed it above the two tone knobs. Other than that it plays great. Perfect for a backup or first guitar. Definitley get the JS32 with the double locking tremolo if you're into metal!

I just bought a JS32TQ Dinky and it's a pretty decent guitar. Brings me back to my '80's Hair Metal days! When I was a kid in the '60's & '70's, a guitar this well-made cost a lot of money. Most inexpensive guitars back then were crap.

I bought the JS32T Rhoads about a couple of months ago. Perfect out of the box, the matte finish is great and very dark. Nothing is shinning on the guitar. The neck is satin and incredibly fast. Both zebra pickups sound awesome. It is very light and the weight is ballanced well. The tuners are also solid. Simple strings through body. The Rhoads design gives you the perfect play position for practice at home when seated without a strap.

I got my js32 rhoads from guitar center. played it and enjoyed the crap out of it. when I got it home though, I opened up the output jack and the piece that has the all the knobs age stuff and noticed that it had a really bad wiring and soldering job. once I fixed it up though, it plays fricken brilliantly. I'm so glad I bought it.

the king v was made for Robbin "King" Crosby from Ratt (a bigger guitar because he was 6'5) when he was at a high point in his career, and had an opportunity to go even higher and become a house hold name...but sadly that time was about as high of a point as he would reach...and he got further into drugs and went into obscurity, and the guitar became more associated with mustaine...but we must remember originally they were made for a great guitarist and sweet human being who lost his battle with drugs and passed away. RIP Robbin. invasion of your privacy and out of the cellar displays a lot of his great riffs.

The issue I have with inexpensive guitars is the fact that I have no interest in banging them around. I would rather have a handful of nice quality guitars that appreciate in value than a dozen or so toys. Assuming they all sound great, the value for me is in their quality and beauty.

Owned the Rhoads, and the Warrior styles at one point. The pickups are really bad, but they play nice. If you decide to get one, and seriously use it as a main guitar, you're gonna wanna swap out the pickups at the very least before anything else.

I have the JS32 Rhoads....its the Ivory colored one. The guitar is kind of light, it doesn't weigh much at all...the neck is amazing. I also put a Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 in the bridge. So....the neck plays great and the action is really nice, and the SD-TB6 sounds incredible. I have a Jackson SLX too (Satin Red Pearl) I put OFR steel bridge saddles, titanium insert blocks, and OFR string lock screws on it....sounds amazing too. Great guitars for the money....I'm happy with it.
