I went on a marching band video streak and was convinced Alabama State University are the best... Until i came across Jackson State University. Wow! The band means business! While I'm a huge fan of the Stingettes as they ooze sophistication, the ladies here are showstoppers! The choreography is just another level in my opinion. Also, the drum majors are true entertainers, gosh! 😅 So much talent all-round. Well done, guys!

My Compliments to the great Sonic Boom of the South. You have to honor an organization that year after year has a desire to set the standard of performance. They have set the bar high for themselves and accept nothing but the best effort from every band member. Has anybody else notice that most southern bands tune their drums really loose (especially snares)? Northern schools tune their snares for more pop; these guys seem to like that old-time snare sound.
