Wow!!!! Let me start by saying that the Sonic Boom of the South (in my humble opinion with no disrespect the other bands as they all performed well also) is the most prolific band in all HBCUs and no -HBCUs alike (they are simply different)! Their energy, song arrangement, selection & sound execution, J-Settes dance routine, drill execution(entrance, middle, exit), bandsmen ship and overall performance was AMAZING!!!! I commend Dr. Little, band directors & staff, J-Settes and the awesome musicians for an awesome performance. Excellent job…Luv Da Boom!

What you could've started off saying was we deserved to have lost.. I'm not even a band head but the mistakes were very visible....the Jsettes made most of them...a dancer fail, missed executions, line spacing terrible, the spacing between the band and the dancers on the right side terrible, uneven lines during drills especially that front line. You can see it more from a side recording of this performance probably by a fan. That performance wasn't close to beating A&T's

@@LynnHarris-zq2or 🤣🤣🤣 y'all some dumb 🍑s. Y'all played wonderfully but it's a band competition they looking at everything. Most of y'all mistakes were your dancers. Lines wasn't straight, one dancer fail and didn't execute nor complete all her dance moves,, not enough spacing between the dancers and the band, uneven lines during drills, that tried 🍑 drill y'all done a thousands times, no flags, no props, no creativity, y'all didn't show the judges anything new, they been watching y'all all season. Y'all had plenty of time to come up with a new program. We came to win that's what we do and apparently y'all came to lose cause u didn't step up ur game nor put in the time. Save your sore losing 🍑. We ain't weak never have been nor ever will be.

They didn't make any mistakes... None of their dances fail nor failed to execute all their dance moves, dancers weren't perfectly spaced straight lines, no knee bending and toes straight, perfect spacing between the band and the dancers on that right side in the back that dancer came close to running into one another, during drills the big square was fully complete 3 or 4 members wasn't where they suppose to be. Uneven lines, another drill part one X is wider than the other and well as straighter than the other. JSU showed no originality, no creativity, - the judges are looking for something new not something they done and they then seen a thousand times... They were looking at everything what u think critique and analyze mean? 🤷 Why do you think there was cameramen all over the field and why the winner was announced the next day that doesn't take a genius to figure out.

They did what they were supposed to have done, performed with minimum mistakes. If you are going to put difficult drills in your show they need to be executed cleanly, your patterns need to be clean, your formations need to be clean, your dancers need to dance clean. There's very little room for mistakes and if any made you hope they are minimal and that the other band makes as many mistakes ...a technical competition is based or judged on who makes the least amount of mistakes. For some reason y'all are having an issue with that. Mistakes count they aren't overlooked.

The Sonic Boom is the BEST HBCU band right now💯💯💯! Their performance was amazing with phenomenal sound and just an all-around AWESOME example of what HBCU bands can do. The remix of Usher with Blowing was superb! The drill was next level, and the way they transitioned into "The Sonic Boom" at the end was IMPRESSIVE! Not to mention, the J-Settes were out there backflipin' into goddamn splits😂😂😂! You can't ask for much more. WELL DONE, SONIC BOOM! #THEE #STANDARD 💙🔥💙🔥💙🔥💙🔥💙🔥

If I switched to one of the top shots it's because the field shot was blocked so it was either stare at someone else's back for a few seconds or at least switch to something you all could see 🤷🏾♂️

The judges were looking at everything, drills, spacing, even lines, dancers did they execute everything, perfect form, proper dancing technique, skills, something new that tired 🍑, creativity, that's why the decision wasn't made until the next day.. why do you think there were so many cameras on the field during the performances y'all dumb ass hell. What are they teaching y'all in Jackson. One of y'all dancers fail. Look at it as if they judging a cheer competition.. if y'all took the time to read all the criteria the judges were looking for y'all maybe would've had a change...

Ok I can say sound wise the boom is indeed unmatched but in comparison the show is very boring. It’s just loud all the time no clarity. Everyone isn’t marching the dance routine looks unorganized and there is no dynamic contrast throughout the show. Now this doesn’t take away from the sound because yeah they sound amazing but field show wise I was not entertained at all but hey they’re loud ig 😂

Speak the truth dude. The only thing these JSU fans saw was how they performed but they have band members not where they should be in their drills, a dancer who missed her entire dance sequence because she cause she slipped and hit the ground ending up out of place, spacing issues all over the place, uneven lines.. but they too blind to see that.

Ok I can understand some of your points MAYBE but NCAT did not drill AT ALL!! They damn near stood in the same spot for half of their show! Their show was LITERALLY boring!

@@jmarionhaynes9218 A&T did drill according to their Corp style of drilling not all bands have the same drilling style nor should they suppose to. A&T is not SWAC. They are not SIAC nor are they CIAA, and not every band in the MEAC march/drill the same either. There's nothing in the rules that states every band has to drill/march the same or the same amount of time. The only thing is whatever you do it needs to be clean, your patterns needed to be clean, your formations needed to be clean. Cleanliness was the standard. This was a technical competition dude what one band did or didn't do is irrelevant.

That was not a bad show, as far as more entertaining than A&T's that is a flat out no!!!! JSU made some very costly mistakes .. one dance fail, missed a execution, spacing was horrible as far as from the band and the dancers on the right side, during drills yall lines wasnt straight it was uneven, one dude lost his hat or whatever its called, no creativity, no props, no flags, most of the mistakes were made by the Jsettes... Take a closer look then look at A&T's performance. They moved around more while playing, their formations where perfect, they were creative, they showed a more complete band

If they lost against Southern it will still be the same pathetic ass comments coming from their fans!!!! Baby we done won the Celebration BOWL many times before having a celebrity NFL coach and we have swept many band competitions before ESPNs band of the year!!!
