My golden retriever Ellie and I take our Tiny Cabin on Wheels out to the Rum River State Forest in Minnesota to enjoy the cold weather and use our brand new wood stove for the first time. We get out on the trails, check out a lake and the Groundhouse River before having a bonfire, making some good food (chicken fried rice Benihana style) and relaxing by the flicker of the fire.

I’ll add my gratitude for Ellie recovering from her illness. For the cabin and the wood stove, looks to be a game changer! They are so versatile…they provide heat (even dry clothes!), another cooking source, a light source, they are a natural source of entertainment - I can watch a fire for hours, and a great source of comfort. A welcomed addition I’m sure.

I'm so glad that she is doing well and hopefully this will be behind you soon. She did really well with all those gunshots. It is very frightening not only for the dogs but for me as well. I don't like going camping during hunting season.

God gave us dogs for a reason especially when camping out in the woods cause thier your best friend out there. If there's dangerous they can see it! Their your eyes and ears. Very smart dog.

The stove and the solar panel were major upgrades to your cabin. Ellie is a beast when it comes to swimming in the cold water. Really good to hear she is doing well with her health issues. OMG Jack, that was a shock to our system until it wasn't. Not sure it would be easy to part w/ Ellie; she is such a match for your spirit and such a gentle soul. So happy she is good and couldn't help it shedding a few tears. Animals are family; just like birch trees, we are all connected under the surface. The new stove looks amazing, but the Ellie scare took the wind out of me. Looking forward to Ellie and Olivia becoming best friends, that means many years still ahead! 🙏🙏🙏

Praise God for Ellie!!! Every time I watch your videos with her, it reminds me of my Golden; Buddy. He blessed my life for 16yrs. His & Ellie's mannerisms are so much alike. I miss him sooo much! Nothing better than a fire early in the morning when it’s dark or at night and having that as the only light source! Something about it just feels right! Glad to see that Ellie is ok!
