My favorite is when she says we want you to know you’re buying from a family business. She wants none of the risk (of putting up her own money&&risking her own money and working as hard) and alll the reward of saying how hard she’s worked, how much money she’s spent, that she’s an indie//family owned brand. It’s just Morphe products with her name on it that she may have collaborated on shades and names. 🙄

I remember when Michelle Phan started EM Cosmetics, she was also just a face of the brand and it was owned by L'Oreal. She decided to buy her brand from L'Oreal at some point. Weird that Jaclyn wouldn't do the same when Morphe's hairy lipsticks are still one of the biggest dramas in the beauty community.

The thing that always gets me when it comes to the truth is that like...if you just tell the truth about what is happening, even if it's bad, people will respect you for being honest. In my opinion, now that Jaclyn has been caught in SO MANY lies, she is undeserving of our trust as consumers and viewers. If she were to own up to her mistakes and take the consequences like an adult, I would respect her, but now she just keeps making herself look like a really bad person. The more she lies, the harder it is to undo all the damage that those lies have done to her reputation.

Just a thought, do we think she’s that oblivious that she actually believed she was the CEO and owner of that company because I don’t understand why someone would lie about that she could’ve easily said I’m not the owner. I don’t know nothing Morphy messed up the lipstick stopped me, but she’s lying and the stuff that she lies about is the dumbest things you could lie about. I don’t trust that girl at all. I don’t believe the problem was with the containers bc ppl were finding contaminants imbedded inside the lipsticks, and those couldn’t have come from a dusty container….. I still believe there was a problem with the production of the actual lipsticks🤢🤢

Tbh I wonder a lot if Jaclyn even understands that she's lying. By no means would I ever diagnose someone with any condition so this is not me doing that, but she honestly comes off to me a lot as if she's living in her own delusional reality and truly believes that she's the CEO and founder despite there being no legal standing to those claims.

I work in cosmetics and am familiar with Oxygen. My theory is that the lab used white cloth gloves to handle the lipsticks (her components were shiny and prone to prints) so the small fibers found were from the gloves. You would be surprised by how many other brands use this manufacturer so it could’ve happened to anyone, but because of her platform people were quick to bring it to social media.
