I agree! I never followed her, but years ago before her cosmetics line came out, she at least seemed kind and genuine…and maybe she really was back then, who knows? Money and fame changes a lot of people. I’m glad I was never hyped about her cosmetics lol I’ve never bought/tried any of her products and I don’t plan to. Even if she wasn’t shady, I never thought any of her products seemed good/different/unique….especially for the price range!

Kristi actually lied about not knowing what James has been called out for. She claimed not to know about dramageddon 2.0 but she's spoken about it before in her youtube videos. She just wanted to save face for supporting a well known predator.

I've supported Kristi for years, she's the only beauty tuber I even watch anymore I think. It's so insane to me that she'd still follow, let alone LIKE a post by James Charles 🤮 She's still not said anything, either. Like she could've just made a quick post on Twitter explaining it. But we've gotten ✨nothing✨ It's truly baffling. I still haven't unfollowed her yet, bc I want to hear her out. 🥺 But I don't even know what she could say at this point, smh. ☹️

Honestly, I 100% expect JH to do something like this but not Kristi. It's so weird that she is so vocal about the exploitation of children online, but still follows James Charles and pretends she didn't know what he did. Honestly, I used to be a fan, but I feel like the alarmist and q-anon type stuff I've picked up on in her videos got to be too much and I unfollowed. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of people in that group are really scared of hypothetical organized crimes and toxins but chill with the actual predators and abusers they know.

I agree about RBK. Apparently her husband follows a lot of alt right figures, so that's cool, I guess. And honestly, she left a really horrible taste in my mouth about how she went on and on about her sister's miscarriage. I get it and understand, it's always heartbreaking when someone loses a baby they wanted. But RBK made it ALL about her, about how SHE was so traumatized and SHE was so heartbroken and destroyed about this. Pretty much made the tragedy all about her

@@wowjennawow honestly I do have a lot of sympathy for her because it seems like she had a really complicated birth and severe trauma and mental health issues following it, and alt right/white supremacist/conspiracy grifters online tend to prey on people in vulnerable situations and warp their fear and anxiety for their purposes, but I don't really want to hear that kind of stuff and I can't really support it

Attorney here. There is no such thing as “pressing charges.” LE, the District Attorney, city prosecutors and sometimes a grand jury decide whether or not to bring charges. The only thing the “victims” can do is file a civil lawsuit.

I’ve always felt like she liked the idea of bringing a brand owner, but never really wanted to do the work for it. She’s always struck at me as not really wanting to work (no shade, but you can’t own a brand and not work really hard) and that’s why she seemed not super passionate about it.

Its so unfortunate. If she was just upfront about the partnership with forma and genuinely put in her passion into her brand it would have succeeded. She has some really good quality products. Her lipliners, blushes, and face powders are really good. Its a shame she tainted her own name.
