You learn the lingo and how to talk about things in these industries when you’re surrounded by people who do it, I’ve only barely been in the music industry for about a year and it’s completely changed the way I talk professionally There’s very small changes in the way you refer to your work that will mark you as a professional or an amateur to others in the entertainment industry, in the music business no one refers to songs as songs in a business setting you always refer to it as a record. Just like here and with many actors they refer to their movies exclusively as films. Small differences in the way you name things go a long way in entertainment

I heard in Doctor Sleep he even improvised his murder scene which was crazy because it was so brutal. He put the extra drama and terror into it which was amazing.

@@thewinner7382 yes, I watched an interview when doctor sleep came out with the whole cast, apparently the scene was a lot lighter and Jacob didn’t think it was good enough, him screaming as they are stabbing him and him asking if it’s going to hurt real bad was all him, even the director was stunned

@@Thephrogdoob he had one of the most memorable and viscerally horrifying deaths of a child in any movie I've ever seen. The way he screamed, cried, and pleaded for his life was so realistic that the adult actors in the scene needed breaks to gather themselves bc he legitimately disturbed them. Jacob, however, seemed unaffected and just happily sat around between takes.

Puberty is pretty terrifying, he grew so fast. Now I understand how parents feel. Not just because of this, but when I left home at 19 in 2020, and saw my sisters in person again this year, all of them were my size and it made me cry, because they all grew and I didn't even get to process it. lol

Jacob is one of most talented young actors out there. The scene in Dr Sleep where Rose the Hat and her gang kills him was so heartbreaking. He made that scene stand out I still can't sit through it.

His performance alone in Doctor Sleep was insane, and you can see it in other movies, even this one that was a Comedy. I hope he gets more roles. He was already incredible as a child actor, and seems to be turning into an even greater, more mature, adult.
