the finale wasn't that bad. but it wasn't that good. but none of them are. they have to be important- right? that's not funny

Jerry hides his intellect well here and makes it all look accidental for us. I see so many similarities between him and dice clay. Not in obvious ways but thier view of things and that natural comedic dna. It’s clear one works clean and one not. Both have a way of always being in a bit and creating it on the spot with precision and not contrived. It’s a relief to watch a person that recognized thier path early on; followed it and lives effortlessly because of that.

It’s so odd to me because they’ve just been in my life so long I feel like I know them.. when in fact I don’t 😅 they built a whole part of me I think.

He was doing so well until he mentioned the "greatness" of that awful hack Jar Jar Abrams. God, Dismal's sequel trilogy was such a disappointment, only made worse by the release of Rogue One, which showed that a brilliant Star Wars movie could indeed be made if it was given to a talented director (Gareth Edwards) instead of a nepotistically chosen one (Abrams).

they just need to smoke a joint together and write some songs without the "business" part, they are friends, they respect themselves, just need to throw out their egos for a moment.

20:20 That is 100% what made me fall in love with SOAD. I was 11 in 2001 when I first heard chop suey, and the outro to that song where they are harmonizing with the piano/harp in the background was unlike anything I ever heard. I still get chills when I listen to that part all these years later. A really amazing mix of talented musicians, that just really complimented each other.

Yes, that's why as a writer, I dispense with giving any direction other than the literal scene setting. I leave it up to the reader to decide how the scene should be played.

12:16 I too never heard of the Armenian genocide until Serj spoke it into my existence. We here in America are very dumber down to anything that happens outside of this country. We’re very indoctrinated by the education system and now that the awakening has happened, and there’s only a few million who are truly awake and can access different and higher vibrations and dimensions, the truth will start to spread.
